My complaint is in regards to Ministry Health Care of Rhinelander Wisconsin I requested medical records,X-rays, all related medical recordsI filled out all the paperwork for them to release my records ( all seperated departments in the same medical center) & had to call radiology to request films.the woman never asked for verification of my identity & took down my name & address & said she would send these in the mailA couple of weeks later I recieved a letter letting me know there had been a serious breach of my personal imformation & recordsMinistry had inadvertantly mailed my records to the wrong PO boxThe people contacted them & ministry said they sent an envelope for these people to mail my records backNeeds to say this never happenedMinistry thought these people in good faith would return themI made countless calls to ministry to resolve this & get new copies mailed out to meThey would not disclose where my records were sent to & have refused to send me new copiesI filled out more release of imformation paperwork & still no responseUnfortunately due to the Hippa Act ministry is protected from me taking legal actionSo to summerize after years of health care from these people I have been totally exposed & they betrayed my trustAll my personal imformation & years of medical records are floating around in the general public & I still don't have me records myselfThe unprofessionalism & total lack of disregard for my rights & privacy .I will never trust a medical institution for the remainder of my lifeI have moved out of state & will never go backShame on you ministry medical !!!
