In reviewing our accounts for the Customer, Ministry Health Care shows no surgery date of 10/12/14. However, we do have record of a surgery date of 10/13/14.
As far as the Customer reporting that Ministry demanded payment of the
entire bill, Ministry Health Care does send out billing statements for the entire amount of the patient responsibility, but on our statements it is clearly noted in a highlighted box that if the patient is not able to pay the balance in full, they should contact our business office to set up a formal payment planMinistry Health Care has sent the Customer four monthly statements, which include this messageWe have attempted two courtesy phone calls to the Customer; the first was on 01/19/15, in which the Ministry caller identified themself and the party answering ended callThe second phone call, we received a recording that the Customer's voice mailbox is not set up, so no message could be left. The Customer has sent Ministry Health Care a $payment on 02/09/and a $payment on 02/19/Given that the Customer's balance is $728.73, neither of these payments meet Ministry's minimum payment guidelines and are not part of a formal payment plan
Since there has been no formal payment plan established, a Final Notice letter was sent to the Customer on 02/11/15, with the message for the Customer that if they are unable to pay the bill in full or received the communication in error, to please contact the business office for assistanceThe letter also stated that if the Customer is experiencing financial hardship, they may qualify for Community Care based on financial need, which the Customer is aware ofThere were no balances sent to collection in or for the Customer
Ministry Health Care does document and record inbound and outbound phone calls and do not have record of any calls from the Customer to discuss establishing a formal payment plan
Moving forward, if the Customer is interested, she may contact me directly at ###-###-#### or our business office at ###-###-#### to establish a formal payment plan

We called our Pediatrician at Ministry StMichael's regarding our child's skinSome bumps have formedThey asked if we could come in for a visitWe made an appointment and all they did was tell us to go see a DermatologistWe described exactly what was happening over the phone prior to the appointment; they could have easily refereed us over the phone, no appointment necessaryInstead, they had us make an appointment so that they could charge us the fees and make some easy money for their practiceAn honest Pediatrician would have listed to our description of the issue and immediately refereed us to a specialist over the phoneInstead, this one preferred to waste our time and moneyWe are switching to a Pediatrician that we can trust and staying away from Ministry
