Worst experience for fixing the problems they do not fix
I have called and left countless messages with the company of Minnesota Rusco to fix the mold buildup on the tub from the inside of the grout to the outside. The company stated that it was my fault for not cleaning my bathroom. I cannot clean from the inside of the grout of the bathtub without removing it completely. This company redid my whole bathroom and stated that any faults they will fix. THEY REFUSED. DO NOT US THIS COMPANY AT ALL. THEY ARE SCAMS
Minnesota Windows, Sergi and his crew did a wonderful job of putting in 10 windows. They were very professional in all aspects of the job, from covering the floors to vacuuming up any debri after the installing. And as for the installation you could see that the crew has a lot of experience at their trade. The whole job took less than 6 hours and we were very happy and satisfied with the entire process.
We are pleased with our recent cabinet refacing. RKR kept us up to date with when the project would start. Stan was our refinisher and he did an excellent job. He was meticulous and efficient. clean, friendly. We also will be having new back splash installed and RKR has been flexible with us in scheduling a time that works for both parties.
Today, Minnesota Rusco installed a new patio door. Like the windows they installed for us last year the door is high quality and of course beautiful. Unfortunately, I thought I had purchased an additional floor lock but Nick our installer showed me that it wasn't written in the contract. (my fault)
As I commented last year after they replaced all our windows, Minnesota Rusco offers top-quality products, in-house labor (not subcontractors) and they back everything with the best warranty around. Kudos on another fine job, you'll be hearing from us again next year to get our last patio door replaced.
Oh, by the way... that lock I forgot to order? Without asking Nick made a phone a call and 30 minutes later it was delivered and installed. I offered to pay for it but the charge was not on my final bill... geez, how do you beat that?

Scott and Tyler were so personable while installing our new door. The door looks amazing! But more importantly is how amazing Tyler and Scot were. They cleaned up everything spotless,! Rusco should be proud to have them as employees. They are two kind, hard working men. Rusco came through exactly as they told us when we ordered our door. Thanks Rusco!
Mike P. came on time and completed the work of replacing our window trim with the proper color. he was very good at his work. when he finished he had us come and see if it was done the way we wanted. it was beyond what we wanted. very thankfull for the work peformed and the cleanup afterwords. Frank Gallagher and Jeff Haskamp did a very fine job finishing our project in a positive way. They did good quality work, cleaned up well and were very professional.

The best thing MN Rusco did was hire FMF Construction to do the installation of our remodel. They did a wonderful job. Mat and Troy have a lot of pride and skill with their craft. I give them the 5 stars.
Even though MN Rusco has been in business since 1955, they have things to learn. Communication is the first thing. I was told when we first ordered the remodel, first week of May 2022 that it would take 22 weeks. Therefore, being done Sept of 2022. It was a good thing I didn't strip my bathroom down back then. In early Sept I received a call from MN Rusco telling me they were right on time. That I would get a call mid to late Nov to set a date in Dec for my install. To me that was not right on time. I received the same call about every two weeks until the start of Nov. Then they stopped. I called the Dec 5 to ask where things were at. It was checked and all my items were in so I should get a call in the next couple of days to set a date. The week before Christmas I got a call today the project was about finished. Still waiting on lights.
Again FMF was the best we could ask for. They did everything they could to make sure we were happy with our outcome. I also have to say the materials used were very good quality. I am very pleased with the out come of this bathroom remodel.
After having our 2 steel doors installed, we noticed a very small nick the wood frame around the door. I worked with Cheryl in service to set a time for the repair. It was very minor, but Rusco sent Mike P, their best repair guy, to come out to our house. He was right on time. He did a wonderful job; he also did an adjustment that made the lock turn more smoothly. The whole process took about 15 minutes, he made my day! It was perfect. Thanks Rusco, we will be calling again, next time for Windows!
I love this company. The men are so polite. They installed my 5 windows in 5 hours. The windows look great,work great and the guys were so neat you never know they had been here. We had Mn Rusco put windows in our other house a few years ago and that winter are house was so much warmer. The crew with our other house were just as polite and clean is why we had them install there window at our new location. I would recommend this company and crew to everyone. Adding the color trim also added a better dimension. Thank you so much for your efficiency and workmanship
Filled out the form on Facebook for a quote: got a call from Christina (who was a Gem) thank you Christina! Told her what I was looking for and my location. She scheduled the appointment for today Friday 11.4.22 at 2 PM in Warroad MN, and she said that was not a problem. Got the call from the gentleman who was going to come up and look the job over and give me the quote. After a brief discussion on what I wanted and in our bathroom he told me "We do not do walk in showers". Well after hearing that he told me he would not be able to help me and we canceled the appointment. I was so excited to see what he (Minnesota Rusco) had to offer me and completely disappointed to hear that you do not do walk in showers. But I looked again at your Web site and the first thing I see in your bathroom remodel area is a walk in shower. Please train your staff before they put their foot in their mouth, and know where people live in Minnesota. I may live 6 miles from the Canadian boarder but I have money to spend too. Thank you for nothing. The only thing I can say is Christina was Awesome and the young man who I talked to on Wednesday 11.2.22 get your act together cause it is guys like you who leave a bad taste in the Company you work for!

Mike P quickly and professionally resolved the warranty issues that we had with a ProVia Storm Door and with our new Solace Bay Window. Both were installed in June. He also paid significant attention to an issue we have with the style and color of the interior trim on our two exterior ProVia doors, including taking multiple photos. We've already received a follow-up call so we're confident this problem will also be resolved. If we have any additional warranty issues we certainly hope Mike will be the one to return and resolve them.
I hired Rusco to remodel out 1980's bathroom. John Kern did everything himself. He was very thorough, and neat. He did an amazing job and I would recommend him anytime. He finished on time and cleaned up after every visit to our home. We are happy with the results.
Mike P. fix this window is about 15 minutes. He found a bent pin and replaced and now my window opens as it was designed to do. He did a GREAT job! Thanks, Mike.
