I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The response from Minnesota Secured Title is a bit vague. To clarify, they agreed to discontinue requesting us (the sellers) to reimburse the buyers directly and agreed to take responsibility for the mistake they made at closing. Thank you.

attempts to make that payment after closing. Because the payment had already been made by the buyer, those payments were returned to them. If the seller reimbursed the buyer for that cost, we would have been required to notify the lender for them to make the determination if they would need to revise some of the closing documents. It is our policy to notify the lender for any post-closing adjustments or payments.
