I attempted to cancel my membership with Mint back in February 2020. Initially, my request was not accepted because I did not submit 10 days in advance. When I followed up with the general manager, Bresni M, I requested confirmation that my request would be reflected in March billing period. I was told to submit another request, while not receiving confirmation about whether by previous request was valid. I submitted another request in March, this time to hold charges because of the pandemic. Again, my initial request in February had still not be respected.

This month, I was charged the full price of a membership, despite the gym not being open due to stay at home orders. When I contacted Bresni, she responded only with a screenshot of my request in March. I have followed up with her several times now to request a refund, as my initial request in February was not respected. At this point, I have emailed her three times requesting to be put in contact with the accounting team, but have not heard anything back. I've been trying to cancel my membership since February, and they seem extremely unwilling to respect my requests. I understand that this is a difficult time for businesses, but I've been trying to get this resolved since February.

I became a member of Mint Gym in October 2018. I also requested Personal Training 12 sessions (at $696 taken directly from my checking account). I had intended to use the 12 sessions October Nov before I started business travel in December. Despite meeting with three different personal trainers, there was no one who could meet my requested schedule - two sessions week day evening and one session on Sunday. In Nov when I had not still found a trainer, I decided to cancel the personal training and ask for a refund (of the balance remaining of the PT fee). I did not cancel my gym membership, just the PT. I had no response despite numerous calls/emails.

Finally I got an email from Debra S saying the PT training packages are non refundable unless there is an emergency. I responded by saying 1) I had not signed anything which said PT was non refundable, in fact no contract had been signed by me, and 2) I could get a letter from my employer saying I was going to be on business travel based in the Congo, Central Africa for the next several months.

Nov 18, I received an email saying we are looking into your account. I replied and proposed that they stop taking the monthly gym membership fee from my bank account and use the credit they have. I have received zero response. I am fed up with their lack of responsiveness. Please help.

I was a member at MINT gym for quite some time, after submitting my 30 notice to terminate my contract, I got an email from their General Manager confirming when my last payment would be made and when the last day I would be able to use the gym. On the next billing cycle [a month after my last payment was supposedly due] I received an email from the accounting department informing me that the attempt to collect my monthly dues was unsuccessful. There was no reason to attempt to bill me and I still have not received an answer from MINT regarding this.
