Minute Clinic

I've gone to the South Riding location two times for a stye (the same stye), and both time I have been given medicine that doesn't even work for a stye. First a ointment (which is only suppose to be given if the stye pops, which mine didn't, I was experiencing the first signs of it, and again three weeks later, I went to see if I could get an oral antibiotic, and yet again was given a medication that is only for secondary stye infections. So now, I have to go to another doctor to get proper medication. I wasted my time and money going to Minute Clinic. Not to mention the discomfort and what it looks like and that its effecting my vision.

The healthcare provider at minute clinic put my insurance through with no problem, so l thought. Normally if you put the insurance in the system it let's you know if it's active or not. If the provider said your insurance is inactive and you have to pay $130.00 l would not have paid and left.I get a bill in the mail that l can't pay at once, so l call to do payments and told that any payment every month is acceptable. So l have sent 2 payments but then get a letter in the mail that l owe the money and l'm in collections? I call minute clinic billing to see what's going on? They state oh just ignore the collection letters your fine, what?! That's not ok with me. The billing people were rude and could careless to help me.l was never told that l would be sent to collections. I will of course pay my bill every month. I feel they are miss leading and don't know how to deal with insurance and people.
