Review: Hired to remodel my bathroom, started on 2/*/15. Had to have many things re-done. Requested that he return to fix certain items, said he wanted everything to settle first and he would return in about 4 weeks from "finishing". When the shower door people came in to hang the doors on 4/*/15 one of the tiles cracked and fell to the floor when it was drilled. Told it was put up with nail glue, not tile glue. Called contractor immediately, but he never returned my call. Emailed him on 4/*/15, his only response was that I owed him $596.00. Other things that are still wrong: floor tile clicking, can crack and break and break surrounding tiles, missing grout in several places in the shower, grout in niche cracking, no grout under marble threshold into shower, tiles in shower floor sticking up (floor had to be re-laid 3 times) and towel bar in shower is falling off. Had my brother call him. He told my brother that he would return after he got paid and hung up on him. Why would I pay for a job that is incomplete? I can't have my shower doors installed until the broken tile has been replaced and verified that he used the correct glue. I cannot finish the rest of the bathroom (paint and wallpaper) until all of this is resolved. At this point I'm not sure I trust him to come back and finish the job, but if I have to get someone else in I would need to be refunded in order to pay for more materials and another contractor. I have paid him over $8200 for installation so far, as well as $2204 for the tiles. I had problems with the job throughout the process and have pictures as well. I would have him back, but I would have to take off time from work to be there and watch this time. Previously, I had given him keys to my apartment and allowed him to work without supervision. I only returned at night to see what he had done.Desired Settlement: I would need to get estimates to have the job redone and the tiles replaced
