Review: I received the complete detail and wax voucher as a gift (purchased through [redacted] Local) and called to make my appointment. The person told me that I needed to e-mail them with my car info because they dont do appointments over the phone. He also said that since I had a minivan and kids, I might get an additional charge for excessive dirtiness. I e-mailed all of my info, but I didnt hear back after several days so I e-mailed again. I then got an e-mail saying that I needed to give my info again, which I did and didnt hear again for several days. Finally, I called again and said that I had been trying to make my appointment for over a week and the guy I spoke to said I would get an e-mail later that day, which I did finally. The confirmation e-mail I received said Gratuity is NOT included in the deal price. Our technicians will work hard for you and they make very little on these deals. Appreciation in the form of a gratuity is generally 20% which I thought was pretty tacky.The day of my 10:00 a.m. appointment, [redacted] and another man showed up at 11:30 a.m. They did do a good job on the car and mentioned that it looked pretty good for being several years old and that I had kids. I did not get charged for excessive dirtiness. They were there for over three hours and the car looked pretty good when it was done.However, since they arrived so late, they werent done when I had to pick my kids up from school. I told them that I could walk to the school and would be back in 30 minutes. [redacted] said that they thought that they would be done in about 30 minutes and that they didnt want to have to wait for me and wanted me to pay them (and the tip) before I left. It was pretty rude considering that they were 1 hours late in the first place.I left all of the windows and doors of the car open that night to dry out the upholstery and carpets, and the next morning I noticed a horrible smell in my car. I then left everything open again for the next night again, hoping that the smell would go away. It didnt. I then sprayed an entire bottle of Febreze on all of the seats, carpets, and upholstery, but the smell didnt go completely away. A few days later, I opened the floor compartment behind the drivers seat and there was a ton of furry, gray mold in it and the smell was horrible. Water must have gotten in the compartment when they were cleaning the carpets. It was also obvious that they did not clean the compartment because it still had crumbs, etc. in it. My husband then cleaned the area and scrubbed it to get rid of the mold, but there was still a slight smell. I was nervous to be driving my children around in a car with mold and e-mailed the company to ask them to come out and shampoo just that compartment again. I also attached pictures of the mold. I didnt hear back again after several days and e-mailed again. I got an e-mail that said someone would call me that day. No call. I e-mailed again and got another e-mail that [redacted] would call me right away. No call. I then e-mailed and said that I would write a negative review on [redacted] and/or [redacted] if I didnt get someone to call me back. No call or e-mail.Another week went by and my husband called Miracle Details and spoke to [redacted]. He explained the situation again and asked him to come back and shampoo the compartment. [redacted] said that it wasnt a health hazard and that we have worse problems than mold in the car since it was so dirty. Funny, because he mentioned that it had looked pretty good at the time of the detail and did not charge any excessive dirtiness charges at the time. He was quite rude on the phone, but said that he would make it a priority to come back and shampoo the compartment.. That was a week ago and we never heard from him.Desired Settlement: I would like to have a complaint on record of the poor customer service that this company provides as well as for others to be aware that they might end up with mold in their car.
