The cleaner had originally told this customer that it would take more time than he wanted to pay for to get everything doneHe had wanted to limit how much he wanted to pay, which is understandable, however, it is therefore not a surprise that not everything was done that he wantedHe did not complain to us until almost a week later, which made it impossible for us to check the accuracy of his complaint or to have employee remedy situation for free for him, since he said he already took care of itHe originally stated that he wanted a full refund, not 50% as he says nowI don't believe the Labor Commissioner would have agreed that the worker was not entitled to be paid anythingIf he wants a full refund now, we can do it, as long as he agrees that the Labor Commissioner can review the case and that the worker can entail free, contingency based lawyer advice

However, I have dispute some of his statementsWe did not ask the cleaner to do more than she couldWe showed what we wanted done and expected to do what she could in the hours she to be paid forShe left after or fewer hours and said she had completed the work we requestedWe paid her for the hours she was guaranteed & even gave her a tip, before we realized she had not done the work. arranged payment with them before they left or to come back at a designated timeIt might be they left after a while not sure if or when they would be compensatedThe house obviously needed work to need so much time that they spent and still need moreI,nevertheless, did not send a bill or pursue collectionsIn terms of damage, I told them of an appliance company I had used with good Yelp reviews.They said company told them they didn't do this kind of repairWhen I called them they said they did replace damaged stove tops.Also, I sent them another name of repair company I dealt with in pastSo, I never pursued further payment and have already recommended several repair companies I have deals with
