Review: Miracle Method shows a flat, modern-looking Formica countertop renovation on their website. Mine was left with an old-fashioned "bull nose" , is very rough-textured, and thick like typical outdated Formica. [redacted], the owner of the franchise, repeatedly shouted me down when I tried to speak and threatened me with a "chest bump" when I complained.Desired Settlement: The counter looks weird and detracts from the value of our house, which we are attempting to sell.

We refinished the kit Formica counters for Mr. [redacted] on June 19 and 20th. He called to say he wasn't happy with the roughness and the bullnose. I inspected the Formica counter on Wed the 25th of June. Upon inspecting the counter I found them to be rough and agreed to respray, to make it smoother. Mr. [redacted] also pointed out an area under the bullnose lip that should have been detailed and I told him we would fix when we come out to respray the counters. As to the bullnose , this is a Formica counter with an existing bullnose. Miracle Method, my office, or the estimator never told or implied that we would change the bullnose of the counter. I've been refinishing Formica counters for over 30 years and have never cut off a rolled Formica bullnose and replaced it.

I told him we would fix all of his complaints except for the bullnose . He wasn’t happy with me response and kept complaining. I left his home with the agreement we would make his counters smoother and handle the area under the lip of the bullnose. My office called Mr. [redacted] and told him we would come out on Thurs (the next day) to repair the counters. He wasn't available so we changed our schedule to accommodate him for today, Friday. We are going to his home today to repair his counters.

Review: In 2008 services were provdided and my shower doors were alo replaced. The Gen Mgr was rude and noncommittal when I called to have them removed.

Services wer provided for the resurfacing of my bathroom and shower doors were replaced the doors were never removed as promised and when I called to have them schedule for removal, the Gen Mgr was rude and retorted since it had been over several years that he could not committ to get anyone out nor would he indicate when he would get back to me.Desired Settlement: removal of the doors, apology and customer training for the general Mgr.

Mrs. [redacted] called 4 years after the Refinishing had been completed to complain that we had not removed her shower doors. The General Manager informed her that it was unconventional for her to expect us to return 4 years later for a problem that we had no previous knowledge of.

Despite being unconventional we sent a technician the very same day to pick up and haul away her shower doors for her at no charge to the customer. We made every effort to accommodate Mrs. [redacted] is her request, despite the fact that she had never notified us before, nor were we instructed to remove or haul away the doors previously.

We are booked out 3 weeks, yet we still sent someone the same day to make her happy.

Consumer's Final Response

I was contacted by the owner and he sent someone out the same day to pick up the shower dooors. There was no real acknowledgement of the lack of customer skills from his manager.
