Review: Had my bathtub refinished 22 months ago. It had rust coming through bottom. Paid 630 dollars to have it repaired and refinished by miracle method. It had a 5 year warranty, and thought that would give us 5 years before we would do a total renovation of bathroom. Loved the job they did until the bottom started to bubble where the rust was. Called to have it repaired under warranty but they say it doesn't cover rust damage when they knew we had that damage. It is written on the receipt that they repaired the rust damage. So If they dont repair what they did, than there is no warranty? We were given a price to have it repaired of 125.00 and when we complained it was lowered to 75.00 I dont think we should have to payDesired Settlement: I would like the tub repaired because we are in the 5 year time frame, that I thought we had a warranty for. They did the work we paided and thought we were good for 5 years. I do not want to pay to have it repaired when it was written down about rust, we would never have had it done.

Hello,

Our franchise refinished a tub for [redacted] on 8/4/11. This tub had severe rust, which we treated then refinished.

On 4/29/13 I went out to look at the tub because the customer had said that there were 6 areas that were raised.

After inspecting the tub I could see that some rust was coming back and is therefore reoccurring rust.

Our warranty is a 5 year warranty against the failure of adhesion of our coating, the warranty does not cover rust.

As stated in our warranty, on the back of the receipt, "Caulk, rust stains, plumbing, reoccurring rust, mildew, mold,

and shower doors are not warranted."

I talked to [redacted] & offered to repair the areas by sanding out the reoccurring rust, treat it again & reapply

the SRS for the standard service charge price of $125.

[redacted] called later and wanted me to fix it for free. I explained that the rust is not part of the warranty,

and there would be a service charge to fix it.

I offered to repair it for a discounted price of $75.

[redacted] refused.

I have attached 4 pictures.

is coming back.

I'm still willing to repair this tub at the discounted rate of $75.
