In response to Mr ***s complaintsThis is very disappointingIn good faith, we responded to his original call in a professional mannerIt was scheduled very quickly, and I talked to him personally over the phone and informed him of the charge if the bathtub was simply in need of cleaningHe agreed, and upon inspection by the technician, it was determined that the bathtub was dirtyThe technician was given the OK from Mr*** to clean the bathtub which is shown by his signature on the work order presented to the Revdex.comOur technician absolutely did not use ANY harsh chemicals to clean his bathtub, but rather a product we sell called MiracleanIt is made for refinished bathtubs, and uses no such harsh chemicalsUsing any harsh chemicals would ruin the coating and void his warrantyIt simply wouldn't make sense for us to have to do that when we preach NO HARSH CHEMICALS on our website, as well as our written care and cleaning instructions that is given to every customerAs for the smell, it is no different from any other cleaner like 409, Scrubbing Bubbles, Simple Green, ectIf the customer has a sensitivity to these type of cleaners, that would explain why the tub is not being maintained properlyWe refinish SEVERAL THOUSAND bathtubs per year, and have TEN'S OF THOUSANDS of bathtub's in the Northeast Ohio area that have zero issues with mold/mildew around the caulk line, and any that do have that problem are an obvious ventilation issue, or a maintenance issue(regular cleaning) Furthermore, I take issue with the customer making a claim that all we care about is moneyEspecially after he wrote us a bad checkIf we have a warranty issue, we are glad to come out free of charge to take care of the problemIf a customer is having an issue that is NON WARRANTY, again we will happily come out and resolve the issue, but we charge to do soMost of the time, this is understood by the customer, and is acknowledged at the time of service, as was the case with Mr***He simply didn't believe the technicianThe technician spent time, effort, and materials to clean their bathtub, and even went the extra mile to buff and polish it outHe did it with a smile on his face, and pep in his stepHe handed a beautiful glossy sparkling clean bathtub back to the customer only to unknowingly accept a bad check.I'm afraid we cannot come to an agreement with Mr*** given the fact that he is unwilling to pay for services already provided, which we forgave him for, and took the service charge off his accountHe has also refused to pay for any additional services that we would provide, and has instead taken to the Revdex.com to voice his malcontent with my companyI take consumer complaints seriously, and have always found common ground with my customers in attempting to resolve issues, but I simply cannot come to a resolution with someone if they are not willing to meet me half way, especially when the issue the customer has is purely a lack of cleaning

The customer we have on file with us that is being represented by Mr. [redacted] is [redacted]. I spoke to Mr. [redacted] the day he called in to our office to complain about discoloration of his bathtub, as well as mildew on the caulk. Anytime we receive a complaint about mildew or discoloration...

within 3 months, I get very concerned. I want to know if we are having any discoloration with our products, so it's very important that we handle it right away. I informed Mr. [redacted] over the phone that in prior situations, when we have received this type of complaint, our techs will go out and inspect the tub. If they find that the bathtub is not discolored, and it is simply dirty (which is usually the case), we would gladly clean the tub for $75.00. This is generally accepted by the majority of our customers. I let Mr. [redacted] know this in advance, and also commented that because of the type of silicone we use, (Anti Microbial) if he was getting mildew within 3 months, the tub wasnt being maintained properly, or there was a moisture issue.When the technician arrived at the job,and inspected the tub, he informed the customer that it needed to be cleaned. The customer argued that  it was something wrong with our product, and told our tech to proceed. After cleaning the bathtub, and buffing it to a glossy shine, he presented the customer with the bill, and a nice clean and shiny tub. Mr. [redacted] was unhappy about having to pay. He signed the bill and paid with a check. Unfortunately, my technician did not notice that Mr. [redacted] did not fill the check out properly, and it is not cashable......At this point, I am willing to shred the check, and give Mr. [redacted] our services for free. However, not only did we respond to his complaint promptly, we did it with professionalism, and a smile. The bottom line is that our products need to be maintained on a regular basis, as does every bathtub/shower. The "Miracle Method" brings old worn out fixtures back to a "like new" look and feel.
