I will again state we would be happy to examine the new damage to Mr [redacted] s tub and we would also like to come to some sort of resolution with him But, I do stand behind that Mr [redacted] received what he paid for and what was originally agreed to for the repair process He paid for a localized repair to the visible crack, that crack was reinforced and the close proximity to itThat same action occurred on the return trip to his home and again options were discussed , we would have been happy to do a complete a full bottom rebuild to his tub at the cost of a full bottom rebuild $plus the refinishing cost, this is not what was chosen See the previously submitted information We are willing to meet in the middle on the cost of the refund, at this point Sincerely, Mitch Bock

I am rejecting this response because:
At the time of the first repair, my wife and I were under the understanding that the bottom of our tub would be properly repaired and supported by using a foam substance for support and that this foam would be sprayed throughout the bottom of the tub When the first repair was completed my wife and I thought Mitch took a shortcut by not spraying supporting foam under the whole tub That's what we thought when Mitch left our house after the first repair We got into a fairly heated argument with Mitch at our house before the second repair was completed At this time it was made clear to us that we were not going to get a full bottom repair We were very frustrated with Mitch and didn't want to continue losing money to him on this tub in this way, so we let him repair it for the reduced price We were really wanting our tub to be fixed properly from the get go so as not to get new cracks down the road, which is what we have now

I am rejecting this response because:
We are not asking for a full refund of all of the costs just the repair/rebuild costs We are unwilling to continue any further business with Miracle Method, so, at this point it would be a waste of our time and Mitch's time for him to take a look at the tub Previously I stated that I think with Mitch's experience he should have been able to recommend to us to buy a new tub rather than trying to fix this one However, as my wife and I understood Mitch at the beginning of this repair, we thought we were going to get a full rebuild of the bottom of the tub to prevent new cracks Also, Mitch explained to us the refinishing process and the materials he uses which put it in my mind that the refinishing would help prevent new cracks as his materials are not brittle but are flexible We regret doing business with Miracle Method and would like to be refunded the repair/rebuild costs in order to put that money towards a new tub This is a very unfortunate situation for us to be in and would like to avoid companies like Miracle Method in the future Please refund us the full amount we are asking for (which does not include the refinishing costs) so we can put this distasteful experience behind us

It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] feels the way he dose.  We would be happy to discuss the situation with with him.  It was our opinion that at the time of completion of his job that they were satisfied with the work completed.  We have not heard from [redacted] since the work was...

preformed, until being notified by you the Revdex.com.  
We preformed the work in good faith that it was appropriate for the situation at hand, we have repaired many tub units similar to his with excellent results and no further issues.  At the time of service we discussed various options for the repair.  The customer was charged for the work that was completed and asked for.  I have included copies of both invoices.  We initially charged for the repair to an area in front of the drain near the middle of the tub ( see included photo) and a complete refinishing  of the tub do to discoloration of the tub.  We did not preform what is known as a full bottom rebuild on this tub.  We were contacted back by Mr.  [redacted] as he said on around the 6th of September with the discovery of a new crack in the tub this crack was behind the drain not in any area that had been repaired previously (see photo).  Again we discussed options to repair the tub with Mr. [redacted] (see invoice #[redacted]),  pricing was a concern with the [redacted]s. We preformed the second repair for a greatly reduced price of only$100 because we had just been there!, as noted on the invoice I offered an option for the full-bottom rebuild, which at the time Cost $425, (we now charge $475) plus the standard refinishing costs.  Note we offered a discounted price on the full-bottom rebuild as an attempt to give them an opportunity to choose that option.  I feel we tried vary hard to come up with a solution to their problems.  Again we would be happy to discus the situation and examine the tub to understand what has happened, up to this point we have not had that opportunity.
