I am rejecting this response because:Mirage Auto said they mailed the check on Monday, January 12th 2015. I have checked the mail every day and have not received the refund check yet. Today is Friday,
January 16th, which is days since they said they mailed it and this should have been plenty of time to have received it. Thank you!*** ***###-###-####

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Company states: The company has agreed to refund the customer and mail her the check.

Review: I was promised by the general manager [redacted] that he would refund me the cost of repairs that I had made to a vehicle before purchase. He told me that he would send a check for the amount that I had accrued. After no response and multiple avoided phone calls [redacted] advised me that it would be a little time for approval. After waiting again and no response my phone calls all have gone unanswered. I call and am told he is not in the office or is with a customer and the one time I get a hold of him he tells me he has got everything for me he will call me back in ten minutes but never calls back. Now when I call the phone is hung up on me or someone tells me that [redacted] has been transferred and demoted and no longer takes phone calls. [redacted] asked me to fax the cost of repairs to him which he received and told me he would take care of. I never would have completed the purchase of the vehicle if the repairs were not going to refunded.Desired Settlement: All I would like is what was promised to me and the repair cost refunded.

Review: [redacted], Owner of this used car lot was extremely deceptive and physically assaulted me. Went in with my wife and son to purchase a car for my 18 year old son. Worked with sales associate, [redacted], initially by trying to agree to a price on the car first before talking about financing, but [redacted] kept pushing us to work on financing first. In order to help expedite the process we did what [redacted] wanted and my son filled out an application for credit. The bank was on speaker phone with all of us in the room reviewing the terms when the bank agent asked [redacted] to pick up the phone and told him that the price of the car was too high for this loan. All the time we were told we were going to be able to negotiate the price later after credit approval. [redacted], owner, came in the room and said he would adjust $1200 in financing fees and reduce the purchase price if I cosigned. I agreed and shook his hand. My credit was run, great financing was secured and [redacted] would not even discuss price. When I kept going back to price, he would only lower $250 and not the $1200 he had agreed to and shook hands over. He kept telling me he paid $9102 for the care but before that he said it was only $8083 and [redacted] showed us a document that showed only $8083 but [redacted] wanted $9998 for the car. The car had bad brakes and looked painted over and the dealership would not show us the carfax after we asked for it 5 times. They said their printer had no ink. [redacted]/ Kelly Blue book value on this car was only $7458 and so I offered up to $8500 and [redacted] yelled and cursed at me and told us to leave. [redacted] pushed me with his stomach.Desired Settlement: [redacted] has all of my financial information and verbally agreed to a contract and changed it at the last moment. I would like my credit report to be corrected and not show that I applied for a loan there based on the fact that [redacted] does not do business honestly. Please see the multiple complaints here on Revdex.com and Yelp.

Review: Purchased this car in December 2012. Dealership knew that the car purchased had a problem with the transmission and other problems. Telling me that it will be taken care of with warranty that they were suppose to provide for me. They have yet to do that for me. I had the car to Niello Mini because I was trying to get it fixed with warranty that was suppose to be in place. I was told the loan did not go through because my cosigner, who is my dad lived in Oregon so they did a second loan which everything was supposed to be the same. Apparently they did not make it the same and the dealership kept informing me that they were working on the warranty. Here it is 5 months later the dealership is telling me that they want to do a third loan and charge more money. Believe they want to do this because time has passed, car has more miles and they can't find a warranty to fix the cars problems.Desired Settlement: I do not want a third loan the car is a lemon. I want them to provide me the warranty. Like they were suppose to on the original loan or fix things that are wrong. Or take the car back.

Business' Initial Response

The company states that the customer purchased the warranty with the first loan and that loan did not go through. The company tried for a second loan and was denied because the customer's father did not cooperate. The third loan went through but just under the customer's name and since his credit is not good he was unable to borrow enough to pay for the warranty.

The vehicle was bought as is with no warranty due to the above issues. They are not obligated to do anything further. DMV has already been there and concluded that they have done nothing wrong.

Review: I purchased a car for my daughter at Mirage Auto in May 2014. Unfortunately, she totaled the car 3 months later. I have been working with [redacted] the owner since August 2014 in trying to cancel my extended warranty and my Gap insurance, which in total was over $2,000. I have been super patient and nice about working with [redacted], and gently reminding him that the paperwork needed to be filed. I finally got the Extended Warranty payment completed in November, 3 months after the accident. He told me he would handle the Gap insurance the week of Thanksgiving 2014. I waited patiently for a couple of weeks, with no word from him at all. I followed up myself with [redacted] and the Gap Insurance company and they told me the cancellation had to come from the Dealership. He never told me what paperwork I needed to provide to him in order for him to file a claim. I faxed over the paperwork to [redacted] on December 12th. When I called him on Monday, December 15th, he said I faxed him 3 blank pages. Why he didn't let me know he didn't receive what he needed, is beyond me. I re-faxed the paperwork that day. I called and left messages to see if he received it and to find out the process and how long it would take. I told him in November and this week, I needed the $797 from the Gap Insurance cancellation for Christmas. Here it is a week before Christmas, and I don't have the $797 I was planning on :( I have called his office each day, because he doesn't let me know where we're at with the claim. I don't want to call him like this, as much as he doesn't want to hear from me. However, he provides NO feedback! When I called him today, December 18th, he basically told me I was annoying him by calling every day and he has many customers he has to deal with, not just me. I understand this, but I have been working with him for over 4 months!! He hung up on me and put me in tears, and has put a BIG Damper on my family's Christmas :( :(Desired Settlement: I want [redacted], owner of Mirage Auto, to pay me my $797 that I have been patiently waiting for, for several months. I'm extremely disheartened that someone would treat me, or any customer, the way I was treated today.

Review: I bought my used 2004 [redacted] from Mirage Auto Sales and 9 days later had issues needing repair. They had my vehicle about a day and a half and called me to come pick it up because all the repairs were completed. Today I went to the dealer to see what had been done. He verbally told me what had been done. When I asked for the paperwork he refused and said that when would get the paperwork together I could view it but said he refused to give me a copy. He asked what I wanted to do and I told him I'd pick the vehicle up when he furnished the paperwork. He asked what he could do to make things right and please my wife and I. My wife said she wanted him to take his car back. He told us and our kids to get in our [redacted] that we drove in because he was closing the lot. He took the key to the 2004 [redacted] and as we left he drove the [redacted] to the sidewalk of the Mirage Auto lot and opened all the doors and rear trunk. We drove away and about 5-10 minutes later we drove by and the [redacted] was no longer there. All we wanted was the paperwork to see all work performed. What we were told was various stories from 3 different people. Apparently they don't receive invoices of work performed because they are billed on a monthly basis from the various mechanics they use.Desired Settlement: Due to the Mirage Autos deceit and fraudulence I'd like to be legally free of this vehicle which remains in their custody pending repair and proof of all said work performed. Id like these actions of the finance person ( Henry ) who is the manager of this facility documented for his threats of calling to have it towed and his actions of kicking my family (myself, wife, & 2 kids ) off the lot and as we left watched in the rear viewhim drive the car out and open all the doors for someone to steal

Response:

The financing of the vehicle I purchased could not be secured at the low rate as stated in our contract. The dealer called with the option of resigning or refund. I chose refund and signed the resend of contract papers. I am glad it worked out this way and no longer have to deal with someone who threatens and tries to intimidate his customers.
