Miramar Car Center,
On Saturday 9-24-16 at 10:17 P.M. I purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion with 45,639 miles on the odometer. I also purchased a 5 year extended warranty on the vehicle for $1,850. On Sunday 9-25-16 afternoon at 5:57 P.M. with 45,665 miles the check engine light came on. I took the car to the Ford Dealership on Monday 9-26-16 at 2:30 P.M. to get the car serviced. The extended warranty company said they would not take care of the problem because the car had only been driven 26 miles before the light came on. They claimed it was a pre-existing condition.
I called you from the Ford Dealership, and I was told by Art to bring the car back and he would fix it. When I brought it back your mechanic Pedro found the code and cleared it in front of me. Code P2667. They brought it to Advanced Automotive, where the mechanic there told me he was just instructed to drive 20 miles to see if the light came back on. When it did not he called me and told me the car was fixed and ready for pickup.
Not satisfied that anything was done to fix the car, I drove straight to Miramar Car Center. I spent the hours from 3:00 - 4:50 talking to Art about getting in writing that you would fix the car, swapping the car for a car with no problems, or getting my money back. During this time Art made a comment about how hot my girlfriend was. After none of those happened, Art told me I could come back tomorrow and talk to Allen since he sold me the car. When I agreed to that, as we were walking out, Art asked me to bring back my girlfriend tomorrow so he had something to look at.
After that comment, I told Art I wasn't leaving and I stayed on the lot. He walked inside and I told him I would stay outside and look at cars. I found his manager Peter helping customers outside. He talked to me for about 30 minutes. He told me he would write Art up, but he could not offer anything in writing to fix the code or return my money. He was adamant that he would help me, but wouldn't give it to me in writing. He told me if I left my car on the site he would charge me lot fees.
At this point, I just want my money back. I have a had a bad experience with the car and with the service. I would like to talk to Allen and the owners of Miramar Car Center.
Please get back to me.
