Review: I paid over $35,000 for the [redacted] Law Group to settle my divorce. The process started in late August 2013. First met with [redacted] and I gave my complete trust that he was the right partner to help me. First court date, he doesnt show up but some flunky that Ive never met or spoken to. Gerald did such a poor job in representing me and Im sure others, he was relived from the group. Notice now the timeline; I did not receive my divorce paper work until March of 2015. The divorce paper work that I received did not include a court stamped original in order for me to change my name. Even though, that was my desire, and documented. Not knowing this, I made an appointment with the local Social Security office for May 26th, soonest appointment I could get, took time off work and only to be told I did not have the blue stamped document that I needed from the court. Imagine my disappointment. Pissed is more like it. I have written many email messages to both [redacted] and [redacted] who claim I got everything I needed. They suggested that I go down to the courthouse and request whatever I need. This was their job; I paid heavily for this as part of the $35,000+ dollars. I am unable to change my name without the documents that I need from the court, which they are to provide. I demand that they provide me with the paper work that is needed to change my name. I am currently in this name limbo hell, until I get this paper work. Nothing else can be changed until Social Security has made the change, with the correct paper work from the [redacted] Law Group.Desired Settlement: Delivery of the court original stamped document that states I wish to return to my maiden name of [redacted]
