I was at Mirasol in 2014, for the last timeI was told after admission that I had to go to AA & NA meetings, on my own time, in my own car, by myself while in their care after being TOLD I have a problem with cannabisTo which, I always said helped me since I do not advocate pharmaceuticalsI was told I was a an addict because of thisMy treatment was then focused on substance abuse (which, besides cannabis, I do not use), and the eating disorder was pushed to the back burnerThe sexual abuse trauma I was supposed to work on while I was there (why I went to begin with) never got uncovered the entire time I was there, and only later, after being out of treatment and recovering from the trauma that happened inside Mirasol, did my brain allow me to process what happened BEFORE I went into treatmentNeedles to say, my stay at Mirasol left me with more trauma than when I came inI was pushed out of the program that my insurance was paying for, with no aftercare
