Thanks for the call and the email, ***? I remember this customerWe did indeed try to rectify the problem by offering her another boat and pointing out that the rental agreement she signed did indicate that we don't do refunds but will provide a replacement craft? Her boating partner was fine with everything but she was not listening or accepting of our offer.? We have been in business over years and realize that everyone cannot be satisfied all the time? We try to offer alternatives but our policies are clearly spelled out? Unfortunately, we cannot change our policy to suit her complaint.? Attached is the rental agreement? If you see #4, it states that we do not offer refunds.Also would like to point out that she stated she was 'terrified' since it was her first time being stuck on the water? We should have screened her earlier and not had her go out? Anyone that 'terrified' shouldn't be going on the water.? Also, we didn't charge her any fees for breaking our equipmentStating that the boat 'broke for no reason' when she obviously had little experience on a boat is a statement that if fraught with a lack of knowledge yet she was able to diagnose the problem anyway? ? We can't be sure she didn't run into something that caused the boat to break.? We will not pursue damage charges against her but understand that everyone cannot be happy all the time?
