Beware! *** *** was our agentWe booked our vacation year in advanceWe rented a bay front condo and invited our family to take time off work (as we did) to enjoy a week long get away from our every day stressful livesAn hour and a half after getting the key and checking in, we unpacked all our bikes, surf boards, clothes and toiletries, we were disturbed by someone trying to access our unitApparently this other family has also booked the same condo, only they booked with the ownerWe were abruptly displaced and had nowhere to goWe also had already gone to the market and spent a couple of hundred dollars on groceries for the weekMission Bay Vacation Rentals would not answer our calls after our initial contact regarding our situationInstead they sent a handyman over to offer us $in gift cardsHardly makes up for the lost vacation, and didn't even cover the cost of groceries we had to throw out! They did not get us another place to stay, nor did they even offer us an apology! Guess this is just business as usual for themMeanwhile my husband, kids, and in-laws were sent packing to go back homeTime off from our jobs does not come easy, and this is why we booked so far in advance*** *** had a year to compare calendars with the owner, or at least communicate to ensure the place we (over paid) for was NOT double booked! There are multiple vacation rentals to choose fromDon't make the same mistake we did by using Mission Bay Vacation Rentals
