He filled out a credit application stating he...

had been with his current employer for 2 years (attached) and was subsequently approved by [redacted] for financing so that he could purchase the motorcycle. Mr. [redacted] purchased an Extended Warranty and Tire and Wheel Protection Plan for a total of $2,100.00 on the day he signed his contracts, which was 3/1/16. The consumer signed his name and/or initialed this purchase confirmation on the Bill of Sale (attached), the Retail Installment Contract and Security Agreement (attached), the Preferred Warranties Powersports Service Contract (attached), and finally, the EFG Companies Tire & Wheel Protection Contract (attached). The consumer is making a false claim regarding the hidden warranty purchase. Mr. [redacted] wanted to purchase the warranty plans, which is why he signed his name to the numerous contracts required to complete that transaction. After paying an additional $500 towards his purchase, required by his finance company, [redacted], Mr. [redacted] left with his motorcycle. [redacted] began their new customer set up and subsequently discovered the consumer had provided false information on his credit application. The consumer had only been with his employer for 5 months, not the 2 years that he put on his credit application. [redacted] notified Mission City Indian Motorcycle on 3/8/16 with a Funding Return notice (attached). They clearly state that after review of the consumer's contract, they are unable to fund the dealership due to the inaccuracy made by Mr. [redacted] on his time at his current job. They also state "buyer is not a rehire" on the Funding Return (last line of the attached document). This means because the consumer made a fraudulent statement on his credit application, not only is his application rejected now, but they will also not accept him in the future. Upon finding this out, the salesman at Mission City began contacting the consumer to schedule the Mission City driver to pick up the motorcycle from his house, as it no longer belonged to him since his Finance Company, [redacted], had rejected his contract. At this point, Mr. [redacted] began avoiding calls from Mission City and when he was finally reached, he stated that no one was ever home during the day to allow Mission City to pick up the motorcycle. This was after he had told the finance department initially that his wife did not work. Mr. [redacted] was finally persuaded to return the motorcycle belonging to Mission City Indian Motorcycle, and he delivered it on 3/12/16, after he had possession of it for 4 days after his contract was rejected.Upon return of the motorcycle and subsequent inspection, I made the decision to refund his entire deposit and down payment, totaling $1000.00, on 3/12/16. This was even after the customer provided false information on his credit application, put over 100 miles on the motorcycle, and cost the dealership time and money in administrative fees. The $1000.00 was paid to the consumer by check 3060 and cashed (attached). It wasn't until Tuesday, 3/15/16, that I received the complaint filed by the consumer to the Revdex.com. Mr. [redacted] did not mention any complaints when he sat down with me on 3/12/16. He actually said he was sorry and he understood that I did not know him personally and he could see how it looked like he was giving the dealership the runaround regarding the return of the motorcycle. He also said he hoped to buy a motorcycle from the dealership in the future. After receiving the Revdex.com letter on 3/15, I called Mr. [redacted] several times and left voicemails asking him to please call me regarding the complaint. The consumer never returned any of my calls.Mission City Indian Motorcycle went above and beyond to handle this situation to the satisfaction of the customer, even though Mr. [redacted] was the one that created the problem.Sincerely, [redacted]PresidentMission City Indian Motorcycle

request for a duplicate title was made on 3/23/17.  The state's turnaround time can be 2-3 weeks.  The customer filed a complaint with the Revdex.com 3/26/17, after a request for a duplicate title had already been made.  The owner of Mission City Indian Motorcycle spoke to the customer on 3/27/17 and explained to him that we were working to correct the mistake made by UPS.  The customer's expectations of the turnaround time for a matter like this are unrealistic.  Mission City Indian Motorcycle has assured the customer we will get him a duplicate title, but he would need to be patient.  At this time UPS is still telling Mission City that they are investigating the matter and Mission City is still waiting on the fulfillment of the duplicate title request.  The customer is upset with Mission City for an issue that UPS caused and confirmed with the customer.  Mission City will absolutely get the customer what is required by law, including a duplicate title.  The customer was never told otherwise.

I spoke with Mr. [redacted] on Wednesday, April 5th.  I let him know we were still waiting on the duplicate title.  The replacement title is taking longer than I was originally told, which Mr. [redacted] understood.  I explained to him that the temporary tag issued to the bike was valid for 60 days, so he would be able to take his bike on his trip with no problems.  I also emailed him a copy of his temporary tag.  Mr. [redacted] advised me to send the title to his son's place of business, as he would be out of town.  I followed up this morning on the duplicate title request, and I am waiting on a response.  We have not received the duplicate title at this time.  I will continue to keep Mr. [redacted] informed as I have more information.  [redacted]
