Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/04/28) */
we mission discount tires have been in business for over 12 years and we our honest and straight forward with our customers and we try to provide every need within our limits to satisfy our customers that is whats kept us in business for years...

and they keep coming back but sorry we cant satisfy everyone... now this customer wants a full refund for our services that she wasn't satisfied with but we are a business and we cant work for free but we still agreed to refund 50%of what she paid so she wouldn't complain... plus we still have to charge an alignment inspection fee normally inspection fee is 30$ just to put it on the alignment rack and measure the vehicle and the adjustment and other parts are extra fees... she ended up paying 25$ for alignment inspection after refund...we only rely on our inspections not another shops... we believe that was more than fair for our services we apologize for the inconvenience
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/05/06) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Mission Discount Tires is missing the point. When they put my car on the rack, they should have seen immediately that because of the condition of the lower ball joint and the wheel bearings on one side, it would be pointless to do ANY portion of an alignment (i.e., the toe in they claimed to have done). The toe in would not hold, so why did they do it? The straight forward, ethical thing to do would have been to come to me and advise me of the repairs needed and to say that in good conscience they could not do any portion of an alignment until the repairs had been made. Instead they did a toe in adjustment that was useless. They also tried to hook me for the future by saying that if I came back and bought the camber bolt kits within 30 days, they would discount the total cost of the kits and alignment. I wouldn't have had a problem with paying for PART of an alignment if that was a logical, legitimate thing to do!
When I went to the best alignment shop in Riverside two days later, it took them less than 5 minutes to look under my car and assess the situation. They said (in writing), "...Can not tell if vehicle needs camber bolts UNTIL WORN PARTS ARE REPLACED and new specs taken."
