I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.This is the same response we have received from the owner from the company. As stated before, we do not have a moisture problem in our house. We have lived in the house for over years and have never had a problem with moisture, paint bubbling, or cracking since we have lived there. Since moving into the house, we have installed a new exhaust fan in both of our bathrooms which directs steam and moisture from the bathroom to the outside of the house. It does not blow the steam or moisture back into or circulate it around the bathroom. We have also had a new roof put onto our house by a reputable company after a hail storm hit our house in the summer of which caused the original water stain to appear and the reason why I contacted Mission Drywall to fix the stain after the new roof was installed. The only time we have experienced cracking or bubbling of paint in the bathroom is when Mission Drywall used a cheap product to make the repair.We have also contacted Mission Drywall four times to receive the completed invoice listing the product he used to repaint our ceiling on August 2, 2016. Every time we have received this invoice, he informs us that he will need to check for it back at his house and he will send it to us the next day. It is both unusual and disturbing that a company with a 5-star Revdex.com rating can't seem to find the record of this repair he completed despite several requests for it. When he finally came to our house to house after four request to view the problem, he told me he couldn't remember what the specific product or color that he used. I also climbed to the top of the ceiling where the bubbling and cracking was taking place to show him it was not wet or a moisture problem. I encouraged him to do the same, but he refused. He also said it should be my responsibility to sand the cracking paint and repaint it myself despite paying him $to make the original repairs to the ceiling.In order to resolve this issue, I would like another painting company to provide me an estimate as to what it would cost to repair the paint job in the ceiling of the bathroom. I will also have them verify that it is not a moisture problem in the house and provide the Revdex.com with the estimate. Out of good faith, it should then be Mission Drywall's responsibility to pay the cost of the repairs to fix the mistake of the paint job completed on August 2, 2016. I should have this new estimate by early next week and can sent it to the Revdex.com as an attachment. Thank you

Once again this homeowner has a moisture Issue ft away from the original repair made one year ago this is definitely a moisture area due to the area bubbling which is a quarter in size directly above the shower the repair made one year ago was in the center of the bathroom ft away from the shower any faulty materials such as paint would have happened within days of the repainting of the ceiling not one year later I do not understand why he is making this my problem it is not due to faulty craftsmanship or material it is obviously due to moisture anytime bubbling paint is created by moisture I told him the paint color right away he's making me out to look like a fool and I do not appreciate this it is a sad situation when you have thousands of totally happy customers but they do not take the time to write a review only the negative reviews get reported

This is getting absolutely no where.  As mentioned previously a cheap paint product was used to paint the rest of my ceiling to match the area where the water stain was removed on the ceiling. I took the time to fix where the paint bubbled and crack on the ceiling and made sure to receive assurances from other businesses that there is not a moisture problem in my bathroom. The fact that I had to pay $300 for this service is ridiculous and then take time to fix it again and repaint my ceiling less than a year later is ridiculous.  The least that could have been done is to refund me the cost of the paint that needed to be purchase to fix the inferior work that was done on the ceiling last August.Go ahead and close out the account and complaint.  I guess we will count this as a lesson learned to get more than one quote and make sure I am using a reputable company to fix the problem so that this doesn't happen again.
