>>I made this complaint to share my experience and warn others.  I was pleasantly surprised when [redacted] got back to me and gave me a refund so that I would close this complaint.  But before I close, I want togive my final two cents worth.  >>When they took off my swamp cooler the best [redacted] could estimate the cost was “not thousands of dollars”.  He said they found more rot[redacted] wood and sprayed in their stuff.  When he said that I owed them an additional 11 thousand dollars I knew something was wrong. Review: >>Hired Mission Home Improvement to fix my mobile home roof. I think Mission Home Improvements charged me for work that does not exist and over charged me for the work that was done. >>The work that does not exist: He said I had rotten wood in walls and roof connec[redacted] to my Arizona room, which he could repair by blowing in the same stuff that boat hulls were made of. This would get hard and act like a broken-arm-cast on the weak wood. They would use a machine to blow in (fiberglass?) through the outside wall. I can’t find anywhere on internet or a contractor/person who has heard of this type of repair. >>Overcharge for work that was done: Original charge was 15,200. Another contractor estima[redacted] about 9,000. They kept finding places that needed this bad-wood-fiberglass-repair that by the end Mission Home Improvements wan[redacted] 33,500. >>Fortunately it took so long to transfer the money out of my retirement, I had caught on that no one else heard of this repair before paying for all of it. If I had paid what they wan[redacted] I would have emptied out my savings and had a large loan.Desired Settlement: If this rotten-wood-fiberglass-repair really exists, then prove to Revdex.com that I owed you the amount you charged me. Also I would like proof to Revdex.com that it really cost 15,000 to put on roof where others have estima[redacted] it cost 9,000. Otherwise, refund me the money you overcharged me.
