I reached out to *** for assistance in a surveillance case. Before Mr. was hired he had the best communication. We did not communicate by text everything was verbally. Mr. ran 1 tag number for me;He did inform me, “this can be a lengthy process and to follow up with him with any type of change or communication between my husband and myself.” I did just that. However, since he was no longer answering his phone for me everything was by text. He was always getting confused or misinterpreting my text messages. I asked him several times to contact me verbally so I can elaborate on the information I was providing him with. I never received a call. I then reached out informing him of some information about a car wreck that took place my husband was in. At this moment, I did not feel like Mr. was working my case. Mr. and I scheduled to speak with one another about the case and I was going to elaborate on the information I was trying to previously provide him with. However, the next day he told me he met with his team and there’s nothing him and I needed to discuss. I then reached out to my attorney. Once she read the text messages she advised me to ask where we stood at in the case; if this information could not be provided then ask for a full refund because it would verify him working my case. Since I received no response because he allegedly left his phone while traveling. I request a full refund and report that should have the date, time, location, etc of his surveillance. Mr. denied to provide me or my lawyer with any information. He stated it will be shredded and my money is non refundable. I was shocked to hear this because Mr. told me he can only release information about my case to me or an attorney, and he keeps records of his case for 3 years. I don’t mind paying for my services if any were done, but You have people like this making contracts set to rob people. I refused to be robbed. I can only imagine how many people he has done this too.

My company has been in business in good standing for over 17 years and this is the first time a complaint has been filed. I am prohibited by contract and confidentiality to discuss any cases unless served with a subpoena as is standard business practices. I will be happy though to explain to those who don't know they way a private investigator operates, or this one does. A client contacts my office concerning whatever the case may be about and we discuss the "meat" of the case and we explain the way things have to operate inasmuch the laws have to be followed, the client has to be completely honest and we decide at that point if we can assist. We discuss a rate of pay, all cases are different and explain the monies must be paid up front in order for us to begin the case and try to get some resolve for the client. Some cases take a few weeks, some can take months and we always do the best we can to bring about some resolve. We are sensitive to the needs of the client and strive to provide the best possible service and outcome. The contracts that the clients sign are very clear and precise and mention not interfering in the investigation in ANYWAY; that includes keeping information from the investigators, every avenue is explored and it's moving fast then it might move at a snails pace. Nothing is promised expect we will do the best we can. Deliberately with holding info is not only dangerous for it can and does jeopardize the integrity of the investigation, the client, which could become unsafe for all concerned. It's been my experience that client don't always tell us the truth and we do our best to work around that when it's safe and will not jeopardize the integrity of the investigation.

Information can be falsified or the client will choose to not share all info which could be crucial and that could have been the missing piece we were seeking in order to bring resolve. These investigations are very sensitive for the most part and all that is considered, these cases don't work like on TV and get resolve that quickly. Further, in the event the client dismisses the investigative team for whatever reason then the case is terminated and no monies are ever refunded per the contract.
