Review: My son has braces on through this office. I got behind on 5 months worth of payments due to a child support issues, loss of unemployment and the threat of a government shut down. I let them know that I would be caught up and able to start monthly payments starting July 1st. I received a letter from their office threatening me that if I didn't contact them about either paying the back pay or getting his braces removed, they would file a complaint on me with child protective services. There is still over a year worth of treatment so by the time his treatment his done the bill will be completely paid for and I've already paid over $3,000 toward the treatment. Yes, I signed a contract but this isn't an issue of them not getting their money because they will be fully paid for by the time his treatment is over, this is about them punishing me for getting behind. When I called them, they told me that I would need to either walk in with the entire amount (which isn't feasible for me) or they will take his braces off and he will just need to deal with the treatment he's had so far. They refuse to treat him until the balance is paid.Desired Settlement: I would like to continue making payments starting July 1st and their office to continue treatment. I've already put so much money into his teeth and they are the ones refusing treatment.
