Since he clearly has no intention of forwarding my refund, I feel that I have no recourse but to take him to small claims court I can only hope that the legal system will convince him to do the right thing and pay me my refund Thank you, [redacted]

Because I have not yet received the balance of my refund ($550), I have filed a complaint today with the Missouri Attorney Generals Office
I also hope to recoup damages for the additional expenses I incurred by having to hire someone to fill the two rows of fencepost holes and to remove approximately pounds of ground treestump chips

His statement is untrueHe contradicts himself in his own statementIf he "followed the existing fenceline", then why does he say he told me "it was not possible", then, proceed to "move the holes as she requested"?The original holes he dug were from inches to feet off side of the property lineI hired him to "replace" the fence, not move the fence to another spotThe inspector wouldn't approve because *** *** has two rows of holesThey didn't know which set to inspect as both rows are off the property lineIn addition, I had approval from the neighbor, in writing, to replace the fence on the property line, which is posted on my front door along with the permit
He didn't "do everything he could" for me, as he couldn't even have proper holes dugNot to mention bringing the wrong supplies
One excuse after anotherI am still waiting on my refund

We are now almost six months into this process. When will I receive my refund? Please forward my refund balance of $550.
Why you choose to prolong this issue is beyond comprehension and reason.

Not not sure what the problem is last time I left miss [redacted] she was completely satisfied according to what she told me in those things are done so I'm not sure what her complaint is about but I will call her today to make sure she's completely satisfied

Since he clearly has no intention of forwarding my refund, I feel that I have no recourse but to take him to small claims court.
I can only hope that the legal system will convince him to do the right thing and pay me my refund.

On 11/7, He called me to say he was going to come by that day to "take care of me" and rent a rug cleaner and he never did. He still hasn't addressed the issues that he left without completed. He's just left a trail of mess in his path.

I am the owner. I was hired to install the fence. When I went to city hall
to provide survey report I hi-lighted the boundries where I was going to put the fence. I followed the existing fence line. The inspector came out and approved the holes we had dug. Once we removed the chain link fence...

& stump, the lady came out and said the holes were 4 inches off. She said to move the holes onto the existing fence line and I told here that was not possible. We moved the holes 4 inches over as she requested. We had to get the inspector back out. City hall said we had to have a letter from the neighbor because the holes were on their property. The inspector did not approve the new holes because the old holes were not filled. She decided to return all the materials to [redacted] and get her money back at her request. I refunded $1,200 and gave her a receipt and I have a copy. I told her I would refund the other $550 around the first of the year. She should be getting that any day. I did everything I could for this lady and was very patient with her.

Mr [redacted] hired us to install a fence....We showed up and dug out 35 fence posts, that sat in a  30 inch peir of concrete..We came back 24 hours later and installed the fence panels...EVERYTHING was secure when we left.Mr [redacted] was happy..we were paid and also invited to come and do other...

projects...Mr [redacted] calls us 10 days later to say 7fence post are now loose and unsucure...Now I.found this to be odd because EVERYTHING was right when we left..,but I.showed up and rescured 9 post..now.as I secured the post, I noticed SEVERAL of the fence panels had missing screws on top and bottom brackets...I asked what happed...Mr [redacted] informed me he had disassembled SEVERAL of the fence panel to either raise or lower them. I believe that when he did that that he caused damage to the fence. I don’t know why he dissembled the fence on his own, he could’ve called me and I would’ve been happy to come out and fix the issue.

It passed inspection, and I spoke to the inspector this morning, and he told me I corrected all the violations. They would not allow me to come back to finish the job. The did not give me any money to start the job. They did not even pay for their own supplies. They did not give me any money. They are trying to get a free job. After the job was 90% done I asked them to give me $700 and I would come back and fix a couple issues. They said I needed to give them receipts before they pay me. They never gave me any money for supplies, and a price had already been agreed upon. They are complaining, and they never let me come to finish the job, and they have only given me $125. I threatened to take them to small claims court and they decided to make a complaint to hopefully not have to pay. I will send a copy of the letter from the inspector saying their garage passed inspection.
