Review: On August 8th a [redacted] was purchased on order number [redacted] from thinkpaddepot.com advertised as a laptop of 2.1ghz with hard drive of 120 gb storage with 3gigabit memory for a purchase price of $250.00 dollars. They charged my credit card and many weeks later sent a laptop with only 80 th drive and only 2 gig of memory. I made numerous phone calls to [redacted] first to find out where my order was and when I would expect delivery. They finally gave me a ship ups notice that after days would not work as the product had not been confirmed as having been received at their office. After weeks of contact with the thinkpaddepot folks finally discovered that the original order had to come from another location than normal. They issued another tracking number and I was able to track the package.

Upon opening the package I tried to look at what the configuration was and found that the laptop failed to post and nothing would work. Tried another power supply as I had purchased another [redacted] machine from them. I had to try two times to get the lap top to respond and then it started to function. After discovering that the configuration of this machine was not what I payed for and was advertised for I phoned them at the number they said this machine did not come from their location and said they would send me the right size drive and another stick of ram to bring the machine up to advertised terms. Within two days the machine started not posting at times and failed to start. Within several hours of this action the machine completely stopped functioning. I called them again explaining the situation and we agreed that I would return the laptop for a refund according to their policy. After requesting on numerous phone conversations to send me a return label they finally did so on our 14th of September. I sent the machine with the understanding that I would be refunded upon receipt of the laptop. On September 18 the laptop was received by [redacted] at 11:35 on tracking number [redacted] at [redacted] room [redacted] VA [redacted]. After a week I then called to find out when I was to receive the refund. On the initial call they said they would check the disposition even though I gave them the name time tracking number they had difficulty determining what was happening. Here it is December 9th after numerous phone calls as many as 20 times I finally got them to say that a refund would be issued three weeks ago. I've called again and again and they said I should have gotten a refund and no such refund has been returned to my account. I think my patience with this situation has come to an end and I hope that you may be able to resolve my situation.

Review: We ordered a computer from them. It took them a month to mail the computer. We had to buy a computer instead from another place and couldn't wait. Since they have return policy we sent the computer back once it was received. That was 6 weeks ago. They have confirmed that they received it but we have not gotten a refund. I call them and leave a message with accounting (because that is where I get directed). When I reach somebody in accounting they are never the one authorized to talk about a refund. They take my information but the person in charge of refunds never calls me back. This cat and mouse game has been going on at least 4 weeks now. The order number is [redacted].Desired Settlement: They refund our money and confirm that they are refunding it.

Review: I orderd a laptop, an HP [redacted] . I received a different laptop, called the company on 4/29/2013 to complain, was told the correct laptop would be shipped out. I called on 4/30/2013 for shipment tracking information and to arrange for returning the incorrect item. I got an answering machine, left a message, then sent an email to the company asking for a refund of my order. I looked up the company's complaint history at Revdex.com today and learned that there are numerous complaints against this company, including non-response to customers.Desired Settlement: Refund my payment. Review: I purchased a refurbished laptop on 9/6/2014. It was received on 9/11/2014. The laptop suddenly crashed 11 days later after hearing a clicking noise I got a screen that said "dumping system memory". and the screen went blank with in seconds. I tried to email the customer service and tech support emails (both) with my complaint and what I should do. but both emails were returned by Mailer Daemon, not able to send. So I went on their website and filled out their form and gave the following message: I awaited some sort of response, but as I didn't get on, I phoned them on 9/30/14 during normal business hours and got a voice mailbox and left a message that I was ticked by not hearing from them and I expected a return call or I would be complaining.

This was my original email I sent to them:

Yesterday {9/21/14} I was on the laptop and I began to hear a clicking noise. I thought it was my cooling fan, so I unplugged it, but could still hear the noise. As I was investigating where the noise was coming from, I'd say within 5 seconds; The clicking stopped and a blue screen popped up with an error message about 2 paragraphs long, with a final line on the page reading out "dumping sysem memory" I had my son, a computer programmer look at it and after telling him what happened he says the hard drive has failed.Desired Settlement: I want the laptop fixed or I want it replaced with a working laptop. If I have to pay to have it fixed I want to be reimbursed.

Review: On or about 12/1/2013 I purchased a laptop from [redacted] for $200.00 I could not upgrade IE and the power was button was not fully functional (intermittant). Called and was provided an RMA# and promptly returned item. Item was received on 12/10/13 and signed by [redacted]. Called over 10 times and finally got [redacted] on the line and he assured me my refund had been processed. To date it has not. Now I am back to trying to contact them and all I'm getting is a recording that they are down for the holidays. This place ought to be investigated by the Virginia District attorneys office.Desired Settlement: I expect a full refund of my $200.00 still not provided and note that the purchased item is in their possesion as it was returned!

Review: I purchased a laptop computer on 14 April 2013. The unit worked for approximately 2 weeks. I shipped the unit back to the retailer via Fedex on 5/2/2013 after speaking to someone named [redacted] after leaving unanswered Voice Mails and unreplied to emails. The unit was received the following Tuesday, 5/7/2013. The company refuses to respond by either email or phone message concerning the status of the unit. I still have no laptop.Desired Settlement: Keep the computer, issue me a credit immediately.

Review: I ordered 2 laptops (Order# [redacted]) on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. For 3 weeks I received nothing. I placed a call and spoke to [redacted] at ext# [redacted]. He assured me I would recieve them soon and 2 days later I received the [redacted]. I hadn't received the other laptop at this point but figured it would be on its way soon since I just got the other one. By this time it was JUne and still no laptop. I called every month after that from July thru December with the same result form them that I would receive it by next week. I am tired of this game and either want the laptop or a full refund for all the purchase price. I have left several messages with no return call.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my purchase price or The laptop I never received with an upgraded memory or hard drive. after over 6 months I think they owe me something for the time on this. I told them I was purchasing this for my union and if I don't have something to prove where it is then they can come after me.

Review: On 8/2/2013 at about 08:43 AM (CDT), I placed an order with ThinkpadDepot.com for a laptop computer, Fast DELL LATITUDE D620, CORE DUO -2.0GHz, 2GB RAM, 80GB Hard Drive, 14.1" [redacted], SKU# : LatD620 2.0, at a price of $190.00 (USD). I paid with a [redacted] Check card on 8/2/2013 the amount of $190.00 (USD). On 8/2/2013 at about 08:45 AM (CDT), I received an email from ThinkpadDepot ([email protected]) providing me with an Order Number: [redacted] and an order date of 8/2/2013. Later in the morning of 8/2/2013 between 10:00-11:30 AM (CDT), I was called by ThinkpadDepot but unable to answer my phone. I returned their call early afternoon of 8/2/2013 about 1:00-1:30 PM (CDT). I spoke with an "[redacted]" (male) who asked me to verify the shipping address. I verified the shipping address provided was correct. [redacted] informed me they would get the order started on Monday, 8/5/2013. My bank account was debited the $190.00 on 8/6/2013. I tracked the order status over several days, 8/7, 8/9, 8/11 & 8/12. Each of those days the order status indicated "Pending". On 8/12/2013 at about 11:56 AM (CDT), I called ThinkpadDepot and spoke with a "[redacted]" (female). She did not know why the order had not been shipped yet. I asked her to have a supervisor call me upon their return from wherever they might be. No call was ever received from ThinkpadDepot on 8/12/2013. Since then I have called and been leaving voice messages because my calls were never answered by a LIVE person. On 8/21/2013, I called and got through to "[redacted]" and inquired as to why my order had not been shipped. [redacted] advised me he thought it would be shipped by 8/23/2013. I told [redacted] about the issue with the tracking number being a "UPS" number ([redacted]) and not a FedEx number. [redacted] also told me that the Shipping department thought my order was going to Florida and that is why a UPS number was posted. At that time, the website showed my order had been shipped on 8/16/2013. Then on 8/23/2013, at about 11:25 AM the website indicated the tracking number as "nba". Starting at 1:29 PM (CDT) on 8/23/2013, I began calling ThinkpadDepot. Unable to reach a LIVE person, I left voice messages at multiple departments, requesting someone to call or email me as to why my order had not shipped yet. As of today, 8/26/2013, after 5:00 PM (CDT), I have not been called by, nor received an email from anyone at ThinkpadDepot. I have NOT cancelled my order and still waiting for its delivery.Desired Settlement: 1. Expedited delivery of my order by ThinkpadDepot. 2. Written apology from [redacted]/ThinkpadDepot with full explanation for the excessive delay in shipping my order.

Review: I purchased a computer from ThinkPad depot on 11/5/2013. On 11/6/2013, I received an email containing a shipping notification & bogus tracking number. My credit card was charged, in full, on 11/7/2013. It is now 11/13/2013, & nothing has happened. The company will not respond to requests for an update on the status of the order.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund on the purchase.

Review: I ordered a computer from this company @ $130.00 I then paid an additional $30.00 for 3 day shipping on 12/18/2013. The order has been processed and the money has been withdrawn from my bank account. I have not received the product! I have written several e-mails and made numerous phone calls to try and contact them. All of which have gone unanswered! I am now out $160.00 that I do not have to lose. This is absolutely horrible, They have stolen my money, and I'm sure they have and will do this to more people! I want my money back and also this phony business to be shut down so this does not keep happening! Review: On 12/21/12 I ordered a T60 laptop - ref. order no. [redacted].

In Feb. the computer stopped working (heard something pop and then it was completely dead)

I requested and received permission to return the unit: RMA #[redacted].

When I followed up, they said unit arrived with broken screen.

I told them the screen was in perfect condition when I returned it.

Numerous attempts by email and phone to seek reolution have failed.

Most recently I spoke with [redacted] (ext [redacted]) on April 3, 2013.

He said he would investigate and call me back the next day,

I have called him twice and left messages - including Friday April 5, at 3pm.

I would like this [redacted] repaired and returned to me - or replaced with a working unit.Desired Settlement: I would like Thinkpad Depot to confirm that they repaired my computer and are returning it to me freight prepaid under warranty.

Or that they are shipping me a free replacement computer freight prepaid.

Review: I purchased a ThinkPad on April 2, 2013, and returned it to the company one week later after reaching agreement with their customer service. I called and confirmed that the company received my return a couple of days later. On the thinkpaddepot,com website, it clearly states that "Credit will be issued within 10 business days of receiving your return". However, I have not received the refund yet, and today is already June 11th!!Desired Settlement: I would like the company to return the refund to the credit card that I used to purchase the product immediately!

Review: An order was placed on March 3, 2014 payment was made in full by my credit card. I received one call for verification of address from that point I called them quite a few times and left messages. I did speak with someone where she indicated they were waiting for the battery of the laptop ordered and it should be shipped on June 18, 2014 and arrive on Friday June 21, 2014. I have tried to look at status online but it does not give me any information, also no tracking number to follow.
