Review: On January 22, 2016 I shipped a parcel box that contains toy dolls as a birthday gift to my gran niece to [redacted] Quebec

The box was measured and weighed and with an additional fee of $4.00 for insurance I paid in total $78.05 for standard shipping, the parcel arrived to the recipient the 26 of January 2016 and at the arrival of the shipment my niece the mother of my gran niece got a phone call from the UPS Customer Center 1 [redacted] in [redacted], Quebec J7C5N3

requesting for an additional of $84.29 in Canadian currency in time of delivery which is $64.29 in US and the money was paid. I called the [redacted] and reported the situation with some questions of what if the recipient do not accept the delivery due to the collection of the fee and I was told if no one sign for the delivery and it is returned to me I will pay the $60. 29 for the return and if I don't pay for the return UPS will keep the parcel and donate it or discard the parcel. I feel we were rip off by both UPS and I want to know if that is legal and if not I want to be reimbursed by one of the UPS Company Services.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of one of the fees
