9.21.2016Dear [redacted] ,Thank you for forwarding our customer's complaint[redacted] purchased the mentioned piece of furniture during the store closing of our previous business Mitrani At Home on [redacted] **., on January 17, Please see sales ticket [redacted] , which was signed by her and accepted as writtenThe conditions of sale were clearly notedShe was handed the customer copy by our cashier Kelly P., initials KMP on the slipNext to the item price we noted CPU, meaning Customer Pick UpShe did not want to pay for delivery and wanted to return to pick the item up herselfOur store closed on February 27th and our last day at the location was March 6, We called the customer many times, leaving messagespersonally called her from my cellphone while her item was the last piece left tin the warehouseWhen talked to her she was not clear but sounded like this was not her priority right thenAfter our store closed personally stored this piece and never received a return call from the customerI am sure we could find the times we have called her from [redacted] and [redacted] phone records.The piece is currently stored at my new store Mitrani, which opened at the end of as a small boutique, design studio.Recently I heard from [redacted] ***, the issuer of the months deferred interest finance program, that [redacted] ***had not paid her balance and after such a long time decided to dispute the saleAccording to [redacted] ***, because of a technicality that we did not have [redacted] sign that she was offered possession of the item, and chose to store it with us, they would charge the amount back to our accountSo as far as I know [redacted] ***does not owe the credit company any moreI was told that she would not answer calls from them so they could not inform her by phoneI am sure she has received a written notice by now if they have her current address.In summary this is a case of a consumer having buyer's remorse after making the purchase and instead of calling us right away to seek a solution, hoping for the best.Fair or not, her bill to the credit card company should be cancelledSo that is the resolution she was expectingI have been in business since and I don't believe We have treated any customer unfairlyIt would be fair for us to bill her again but we do not intend to do thatI would like to believe that she had some good reason to cancel her purchase and just wish that she had contacted us promptlyIt would have saved you, [redacted] and me a lot of time and unnecessary effort.Please let me know if there are any questions about this matter.Sincerely,Albert MOwnerP.SAs for her credit report, she needs to call [redacted] *** as we have nothing to do with that
