Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America Reviews (%countItem)

We purchased a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage SE at West Loop Mitsubishi in July 2018. Since then, we have been bombarded with email advertisements from Mitsubishi to my email address at ***, but for some reason, they also address me by my mother's name. We have opted out of these email ads numerous times, yet we continue to receive emails almost daily. Please cease and desist your email advertisements to my email and mailed flyers to home address. We are not interested in any more Mitsubishi products/services at this time.

To Whom It May Concern,
In 2013 my mother was diagnosed with cognitive impairment. Without informing her family, she signed for another lease with MMCA in 2015 which was the same year she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I immediately contacted MMCA to inform them that while I do acknowledge that my mother signed a lease, at the time the lease was signed she had already been diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. I provided MMCA with documentation in the form of neurologist medical records as proof of both her diagnosis and when the diagnosis was made. Additionally, documentation was provided from her doctor forbidding her to drive. MMCA responded by having my mother still needing to uphold her contract despite her illness. My husband and I wrote a letter to our state Attorney General and provided the same documentation provided to MMCA while still making payments for a car that was not driven and for a car we could not afford to pay for. We waited and waited to receive some type of resolution which never came. Presently, my mother's car was returned early, this past February in which we paid out of pocket 1,254.82 which I never received a receipt for. When I called MMCA today, 5/30/18 their response was since payments are handled by a third party, they are unable to supply me with a receipt and perhaps they wrote the email down incorrectly which is why an emailed receipt cannot be sent either. All of these past years events with MMCA have been disheartening. I am filing a formal complaint to yes warn consumers, but to also suggest to MMCA that provisions should be made in their contracts for illness especially when evidence of the disease can be provided. Additionally, an apology at the very least would be much appreciated as would a reimbursement of fees paid once MMCA was presented with my mothers illness documentation.

My car was totaled in early February 2018. My insurance company sent a check for the payoff amount to MMCA on 2/20/2018 (next payment wasn't due until 2/24/18). On 4/30/2018 my credit report and the credit report of my spouse showed that the payoff check from the insurance company was never applied to our loan and MMCA had sent us to collections. I have talked with reps two times and they say the same thing. They see that they received the check, but did not apply it appropriately, but nothing has been done to correct this to date. I have also sent them two written request to fix the issue and correct our credit reports. But still my account remains delinquent and my credit report shows that I am defaulting on my loan. I have never missed a payment with MMCA and am very upset with their handling of this issue. The account has been paid in full, by my insurance company (Check # *** issued on 2/20/18). They are not fixing the issue and are not responding to my requests.

Dear Sir/Madam, I recently returned my 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander - a leased vehicle which completed it's 3 year term by April end 2018. I had bought 45,000 miles (15k/year) mileage on the car but only used 34,700 miles. I returned the vehicle with very low mileage (10,300 miles less than what I was entitled to use) and with zero dents and really minor scratches which as per the contract and policy on their website does not qualify to be charged as excess wear/tear. But Mitsubishi is charging me $265.00 + Tax, total about $291 for things which actually qualify as normal wear and tear according to the verbiage on their site. When I talked to them over phone twice - they refused to waive the charges saying they bill for any scratch an inch or more in length, but the site says it's 2 inches. The car I returned was in excellent condition with absolutely ZERO dents and few minor scratches and some of them are hardly visible. But Mitsubishi is faking these as excess wear or tear and demanding me to pay. For e.g., a minor chip off of paint which is about 2 millimeter in diameter, they are asking for $190 in damages. Similarly there is another charge for a small scratch for $75. I've provided their URL below which explains what is normal and excess wear/tear and also attaching the documentation (pictures). You can see that they don't match to the policy guidelines given on their own site. ***excess-wear-and-use Also, the number to call for ended lease customers *** is different than the one for active leases and every time I call, the wait time is nearly half hour to speak to someone. After making 4 attempts I finally talked to a representative last Friday 5/18 and a Supervisor today - 5/22. The supervisor was very impatient to listen to my points and constantly cut me off while speaking until I demanded to be heard. Customer service is pathetic, their practices are shady and fraudulent.

Mitsubishi has failed to amicably settle the matter to my satisfaction in a fair manner and have resent the same invoice again to pay $212.46 which is the amount I had contested and is the subject of this complaint.

Mitsubishi has tried to isolate Revdex.com of this complaint matter by saying that they can't disclose the details of the settlement due to confidentiality reasons but are separately mailing me the same invoice for the same amount and recover the charges from me which I've contested and do not agree to.

Greetings Sir/Ma’am,

I’m writing to you today as Mitsubishi Motors customer, who has lost all faith, and respect for your brand. Additionally, I’m a disabled veteran of the United States Air Force, and an M.B.A graduate of the *** Washington University. As such, I have studies several business cases, worked as a consultant for *** to solve many, and have a good amount of experience in management, leadership and customer service. Unfortunate, your company seems to have failed on management, and customer service.
So, I write to you today to voice my concerns, observations and negative brand image you company has shown over the past few years.
My issue starts in Nov 2010, a month before heading out to Basic Training, where I would have no contact with the outside wrong, or method of communication, (cell phones are taken away). With this knowledge, I set out to make sure my payment was made on time. So, I contacted Mitsubishi Motors, and asked them to defer my payment to after I got out of basic training, they responded with “ We can defer up to two payments, we will send you a form, fill it out and send it back.”
As a result, I filled out the form and sent them back and waited and got no response. So, with that in mind I felt I had filled out all the information correctly, and the payments would no be differed. However, to my dismay this was not true! A few months after basic training I noticed negative reporting on my credit report. It turns out the payments I had been submitting were all late! This of course led to a great deal of confusion. So, I called Mitsubishi Motors and enquired as to what had happened.
They informed me that my deferment request was denied due to the information being inaccurate, so the payments that should have been deferred to the end of the lease while I was in Basic Training never happened, and thus I had been paying payments behind schedule. As a result, I have several negative reports on my credit record.
