Bought a [redacted] with accessories from Mitten in Ottawa. The brake was defective. Mitten's Branch Manager connected me to the [redacted] rep. [redacted] agreed to replace the brake. Attempts to communicate, by phone and by email, with Mitten during this 4 mth process were ignored. A request for assistance with the swap of the old for the new were ignored by Mitten. A request for consideration for a discount on a roll of metal to replace the one wasted with the defective brake were ignored. Two thumbs up for the Mitten Shipping Clerk who assisted me with unloading my defective brake and loading the replacement.
Based on my experience I would not recommend Mitten as a supplier as they are disorganized, for the most part unhelpful and lacked even the most basic empathy for a customer who ended up with a defective product. There is no doubt in my mind that had [redacted] simply said too bad go away, Mitten would not have gone to bat for me. I am sourcing my supplies elsewhere.
