Good afternoon - In response to this complaint I would like to share our support history with this client. The client did use a site "e-file.com" (we are efile.com and not e-file.com) and paid for tax services on e-file.comThe client also ordered services including a 40% promo code on
our site (efile.com)The client used the tax software but decided not to efile the tax return with the IRSOur service agreement states that the services paid is for the use of the tax software and that the efiling of a tax return is free and includedA taxpayer could use our tax software with all it's features and PRINT a tax return and mail it in without using the efile feature. Again, we don't charge for efiling but for the use of the softwareMs*** did receive a 40% discount on efile.com and we can extent our offer to a Free tax return in 2017. Unfortunately our return policy does not allow for a refund due to the fact that she used the software but did not efile as explained abovePlease see the agreement accepted by Ms*** here: *** Again, we can offer a free return for if the user wants to accept this and again, we are NOT e-file.com but efile.com and we are not a fraudulent site as stated by the user. The site is free until you submit your return to the proper governmental agency, which is why the site does not prompt you to pay until that step. I did not press submit. This is fraudulent and I want my money back.

In reference to your attached complaint with the Revdex.com, I would like to inform you we are NOT e-file.com but [redacted].com! Notice DASH as in e-file.com! we at [redacted].com don't have a dash in the name. we are a different company. You did not get charged by [redacted].com nor did you file taxes with [redacted].com....

We have been in contact with this user over 4 times since April 15 via our support services. We have provided the tax services the user requested and we don't see where we went wrong. We explained the reasons (see attached support history) why the IRS rejected the return and we shared that with the...

user. We gave instructions on how to correct that and efile again at no charge. According to our user agreement we provided the tax services requested under this account email address: [redacted] - The user never requested a refund for the fee as you can see in the support history. As stated, we provided the service the user paid for and when the IRS  rejected the return due to data entered incorrectly by the user that did not match IRS records, we instructed on how to correct this to the user. Plus instructions are listed inside the account. The user was in contact with us as of 04/18/2017 at 12:25PM and we replied on 4/18/2017 3:42pm - please be aware this was TAX DAY - the busiest day of the year and the user had approx. 7 hours to correct and efile again at no extra charge.Please see the support history attached in the PDF on how we responded to this user. Let me know if you need any other information. Best regards, [redacted]
