RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Hello and I received your response reguarding [redacted] . [redacted] *** stated he installed the roof, gutter/guards and siding three years ago. Incorrect! The roof and gutter was installed then; however, the siding and gutter guards were installed 2/25/13. Also, I do not recall [redacted] informing me about this gutter extention. Furthermore, if [redacted] is so sadden, then why has he not responded to me or actually come out in person to access the situation. Two people have come out and said the flashing around the window was installed incorrectly, plus a piece of siding in that same area came down and [redacted] came out and crewed it in place but it does not extend to the end. A few weeks ago [redacted] informed me that he would call next week to come take a look and I'm still waiting.

Hello and I received your response reguarding [redacted] stated he installed the roof, gutter/guards and siding three years ago. Incorrect! There was no verbal agreement to make any payments on a monthly basis.
The proposal was $100.00 on the original proposal of the roof only, for 850.00
would be paid upon accomplishment. ([redacted] did not give you a copy 0f the first
proposal for just the roof, which give more detail to work on the roof to be
done). Their second proposal included partial of the first contract.  However, I paid the amount they ask for,
believing the work would have been done in a timely manner. Their first proposal
was my second proposal. The proposal shows the agreement was due upon completion.
Every proposal agreed to had a deposit and the balance was due at completion.
The additional work has nothing to do these problems, I am disputing,
it is everything to do with the work I already paid that was not done as promised.
What makes the [redacted] think I would add another contract and they have not
completed the job as promised.  As stated
in my complaint to the Revdex.com. I have the picture to show the work was not in a
professional manner. The work that was completed, a handy man could have done
much better job.
When I saw the condition of the roof, [redacted] assured me that he could do
the repairs and it comes with 5- year warranty.
([redacted] took pictures showing the condition of the roof). He explains
that I would not have any problems with the roof he has been in this business
for so many years.
This is the second proposal Seal leaks and flashing with cement and
fabric. Apply aluminum roof coating to upper and lower roof. Galvanized cap and
box off chimney and install modified burethane roofing material, grind and
repoint back chimney wall area. Remove existing rotten fascia board and metal.
Replace fascia and metal also install new K5 seamless gutter. Tie downspout
into existing street drain, He revised the contract to add the repointing back
chimney and increased the deposit from $100.00 and requested $400.00 deposit,
because of the additional work. I made the deposits and balance was to be paid
upon completion, see contract.
On Tuesday 11/24/2015 at 9:20 AM, sent text message, because I didn't
get return calls. from [redacted]. In the text, Gm. Where you able to finish the job
as plan (roof)and what was the estimate for pointing back windows and the
corner. Please advise. Later that afternoon went down to see contractor, I
thought he would be completing the top and bottom roof. He left the lower roof
exposed and a piece of aluminum hanging over the fence with long nail sticking
out. Looking out of the 2nd and 3rd floor windows no repairs to roof
or coating material covering the roof. It appeared that no work was being done.
I did not check the upper roof. [redacted]
agreed to send pictures as he completed the process. I was told he does that
for all his customers.
There is a playground across the street and I see children playing across
the street. I was so upset that one of those children could have hurt themselves.  Fascia board was left expose and water could
cause some molding when it rained.
That is one of the reason I call the credit card company. Yes, they
credit my account for the $100.00. After I had another contractor come out give
another free estimate, I was told that someone appeared to be working on the
upper roof.  I was surprise, I apologized
having come out. So I called my credit card company and explain that I wanted
to give [redacted] a chance to finish the[JP1] work he started.
I still want [redacted] to fix my downspout he cut holds into to add a short
piece to downspout from the lower roof to the old downspout, which has cause
leaks into my basement. The wrong type of nails was used to anchor the loose
downspout. The ridged cuts on the downspout not sealed and you can cut yourself.
One of many promises 03/15/16 said he would fix the downspout when gets
back in town. As of 04/16/16 and until this day, I called and text so many
times with no results. The water leaks in my basement when it rains, because
the downspout push into the main drain incorrectly.
 The bathroom on the 3rd
floor leaking water from the pipe collars on the roof. I was told it would be sealed.
In addition, water on the 3rd floor back room, leaking from water
coming through the roof into the ceiling. The pointing was place on the back
wall to prevent any moisture coming through the wall has fallen off in most
places. It was not smooth out. [redacted] left cement all over my window and window
seal. My neighbor property had cement all on property, very upset never seen
such slopping and unprofessional work. She called the company, but she had
someone to clean it up.  Chimney looks about
the same, no close up pictures to determined, if anything was done. This is not
my profession, that is why I called for some professional guidance. [redacted] said
he was the man for the job. I had other appointment from Home Advisors [redacted] was
the first from the company showed up.
([redacted] General Contractor/ [redacted]- or whoever was working for him)
How soon would the company make all repairs and prime the ceilings
caused by the leaks. See my original request.
[JP1]

Review: [redacted] installed my roof, siding and gutter/guard on the rear of my house. However, the gutter is tilting in upper right hand corner and the roof extends beyond the gutter and when it rains the water does not empty into the gutter properly. This causes the water to run down my window in a sheet like manner and seeps into the inside of the window.Desired Settlement: Honor his guarantee and warranty.
