Please allow this to serve as Leggett & Platt’s response to the Complaint submitted by [redacted] ***, ID # [redacted] , regarding a L-Legacy L-PT NWH BR Fadjustable bed base purchased from Craftmatic Beds on May 4, (the “Adjustable Bed”) On or around June 8, 2017, Mr [redacted] contacted Craftmatic to report that the Adjustable Bed was not working correctlyPer our communication from Craftmatic, Mr***’ Adjustable Bed stopped working, and he had a friend look under the Adjustable Bed to try to resolve the issueThe friend turned on a switch, and the bed started worked againLater, the Adjustable Bed allegedly stopped working again and Mr [redacted] asked that his Adjustable Bed be serviced Leggett sent a service tech to Mr***’ home on June 15, While a second follvisit was scheduled for July 10, 2017, such service was cancelled when the decision was made to replace Mr***’ Adjustable Bed base with a new base, free of charge Mr***’ receipt of a new adjustable base exceeds any warranty or other legal obligation owed to him, and was done as a good faith gesture to achieve customer satisfactionWe decline Mr***’ request for a partial refund of the adjustable base cost We appreciate Mr [redacted] bringing this issue to our attentionWe strive for customer satisfaction, and hope that Mr [redacted] is satisfied with this outcomePlease let me know if you have any questions Thanks, [redacted]
