I've been to Mr. business on four separate occasions, but he claims he does not remember me. I have never encountered this problem with the previous owner, Mr..
The first time I went and saw Mr., it was to change my front tires. They were used but in better condition than my current ones; however, they were from two different companies. I paid $100 CAD for this.
During my second visit, I asked that one tire be changed so that both tires were matching. Mr. told me that this wasn't necessary, so he did not do it. I told him that my car was pulling towards one side while driving. He told me to get a wheel alignment at a different shop instead.
At my wheel alignment appointment, I was informed that both tires must be from the same company since differences between different company's tires will affect driving, regardless if they are of the same size. They would not do a wheel alignment on mismatching tires. I went back to Mr. workshop during his opening hours, as were indicated on the sign at his shop, but it was closed and no one was answering the phone.
My fourth visit, on Monday, February 3, 2020, I went back to Mr. shop after speaking with him on the phone, during which I explained the situation and he said he will look at my car. Upon my arrival, he said he would change both tires for another $100 CAD, the amount I had paid him previous for changed tires. I told him I have already paid and wanted his error to be corrected. He claims he does not remember anything. What should I believe here? Who is in the right? Do I have the right to publicise the poor service and performance given me at Mr. shop? Maybe it will also be a warning for other customers so that they can avoid unpleasant surprises.
I would like clarity on this situation as soon as possible and have one of the tires replaced, that was installed by Mr., at no extra charge.
