satisfactory to me.  I finally did get a refund from them.  They never called me, but, I did receive a check in the mail.This can be closed out.  MJ Constructions handling of this was awful, but, at least I get my money back!

Review: The City of Milwaukee did sewer work on my street and sewer line. They hired a contractor, MJ Construction, to do the work. After work was completed, I had sewer back up in my basement. I had to hire a plumber to go down my sewer line to clean out any tree roots and see what was causing the back up. They could not get through and informed me that my lateral sewer lines were cracked / crushed. I needed to call another company to put camera down my sewer lines to determine problem. It was discovered that the work sewer repairs done by the city caused the issue. I spoke w/City of Milwaukee representative who had contractor come back out and fix the main sewer lines. This was done quickly and promptly in Oct, 2014. I contacted the City of Milwaukee to determine who is responsible for reimbursing me for my plumbing expense (approximately $563) and was told to contact the company they hired to do the repairs. I contacted MJ Construction on 11/13 and spoke to [redacted], Operations Director. He asked I send him an email with the details and copies of my receipts, which I did on 11/14.

- 11/13/2014 Initial call to MJ Construction for plumbing reimbursement

- 11/14/2014 email to MJ Construction with pdf of receipts for my plumbing expenses and to have someone clean basement due to the sewer back up

- 12/4/2014 send a follow up email to MJ Construction to get an update

- 12/4/2014 [redacted] Leszczynski emailed me asking "Will tonight work?", to have someone come clean my basement. I didn't get the email until 12/5/2014

- 12/5/2014 tried calling [redacted], but, get voicemail. I left message and sent email to call me to discuss cleaning basement and reimbursing me

- Week of 12/9...[redacted] met me at my house and had company come to clean my basement. At that time, he took pictures of my receipt for reimbursement and explained what occurred and the fact he spoke w/City of Milwaukee to verify who was responsible for these repairs/costs.

- 12/23/2014 I sent another email to [redacted] to get update on my reimbursement from my plumbing expenses

- 1/5/2015 I received an email from [redacted] indicating company was closed, but, indicated, "This should have been processed and mailed. We were shut down over the holidays, but I will look into this..."

- 1/12/2015 I sent another email to [redacted] asking for status.

At this time, I went back to the City of Milwaukee and have been working with Roger Reed. He contacted [redacted] mid January and was told that [redacted] thought this was taken care of already and will check into it and call me back. Still no call back from [redacted]. I have been in contact with Roger Reed for the last 3 weeks and he has been trying to get this resolved.

I'M DONE with this. It has been over 3 months and I still do not have the reimbursement of my plumbing expenses that were a result of the work that was done by MJ Construction and the City of Milwaukee. I'm at wits end and do not know where else to go with this. I refuse to call MJ Construction since they NEVER respond. When I spoke with Roger Reed from the City of Milw last week, he was going to contact the owner of MJ Construction. I have no update as to where they are at on this and left Roger a message today.

I understand the mistakes happen appreciate the fact the sewer lines were repaired promptly by MJ Construction; however, they should have been on top of their communications with me on their handling of cleaning my basement and reimbursement. I should not have had to make so MANY calls and emails. This is still unresolved and it should never have been going on this long. I have threatened to contact Revdex.com with regards to this issue and obviously they didn't care....so, here I am!!Desired Settlement: I'm looking for a refund on my plumbing expenses in the amount of $563.13. I want this reimbursement in my hand by Feb 14, 2015.
