M.J. Fortunato Septic Tank Cleaning Service Inc.

Review: On Friday, April [redacted], 2014; Sunbelievable at [redacted] had septic issues that needed to be addressed. We were on a time-restraint and called two companies, [redacted] and MJ Fortunato, Fortunato replied the earliest they could come was Saturday morning, I replied no, that would not be sufficient as the issue needed to be addressed there and now. We requested that the service for Saturday from Fortunato was to be cancelled as we would be using Reliable. On Friday night [redacted] came and I witnessed the service that they performed, however, within three days I received an invoice from Fortunato. I called Fortunato inquiring about the invoice, they had mentioned they came on Saturday, April [redacted] 2014 at 8am without our knowledge and consent when our business hours are from 9am-9pm on Saturday. They performed an unauthorized service without any supervision or any form of consent. They claimed the septic issues were very bad and required THREE cleanings even though it was done eight hours prior. The issue is that Fortunato is stating that we are responsible for this invoice even though we: cancelled the appointment, did not authorize them to perform service, and we were not present during the time of the supposed service. Therefore, I feel that we should not be [redacted] for the invoice.Desired Settlement: For the invoice of the $190.53 to be dismissed as there is no proof of the service, no consent, and no authorization.
