Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 22, 2016/02/22) */ ***response has been scanned in and converted to text below (original document is available using the online complaint system) On 1/26/Ms [redacted] called MJ Plumbing Inc., and asked us to give her an estimate on a gas line which we did, she agreed and signed our contractWe completed the project in a timely matter and even went back several times to insure there were no problems with the gas line we installed for her, we received a call from MDU stating they went to the residents as well to check on gas line, while they were there they witnessed MS [redacted] tampering with the gas line we installedWith us having a professional business relationship with MDU they immediately notified usThis voided any warranty there was due to tampering Ms [redacted] has ignored our letters, emails, and phone calls regarding her bill, we put a lien on her property and demanded payment yet she has refused to reply, there is also a lien on her property from the general contractor who has done work for her and has also to refuse to pay the company Ms [redacted] has tried everything from calling the state plumbing board on us to having her bank call us and tell us payment is on the way which it never came, We here at MJ Plumbing have nothing but good standing with our customers, state of ND contractors division, along with coming highly recommended from the state plumbing board of ND and all their inspectors, it seems to us Ms [redacted] is once again trying to get out of paying her bill I have attached her signed contract, the invoicing, the demand for payment and copies of the liens on her property, we also have pictures that we can supply if needed The only way this will get settled is if she pays her invoice for the work done at her residence

we did, she agreed and signed our contract.
