I purchased two lace trims from this store for my wedding dressI didnt know which one I needed which is why I bought more than oneThe girl who cut the trim told me I couldnt return but I could exchangeOn their receipt they state "m&j allows returns for exchange or store credit within days of purchase with original receiptThere are no cash refunds or credit card chargebacks" They refused to exchange the trimI was not askking for my money, simply to exchange a piece for anotherThe trim wasnt even cut to my specifications since I was given precut trimThe girl in cash register was very rudeThey have beautiful products but are way overpricedThere are other stores with the same trims and fabrics but for much cheaperThe only reason I didnt mind paying their high prices was cause I thought I would have the flexibility of exchanging and I didnt have time to search for deals in different storesI saw it as paying more for better serviceBut I was absolutely wrong

They refused to exchange the trim. I was not askking for my money, simply to exchange a piece for another. The trim wasnt even cut to my specifications since I was given precut trim. The girl in cash register was very rude. They have beautiful products but are way overpriced. There are other stores with the same trims and fabrics but for much cheaper. The only reason I didnt mind paying their high prices was cause I thought I would have the flexibility of exchanging and I didnt have time to search for deals in different stores. I saw it as paying more for better service. But I was absolutely wrong.

Review: I recently purchased 3 buttons from the store. After I found the time to attach them to my vintage coat, I realized that they in fact cannot be used for buttons, as the thread goes right through the button, making it more decorative than functional.

When I found the time to make it to the store to get my money back, the [redacted], [redacted], informed me that I could only get an exchange, as that was their policy. I told her because the product isn't actually what I paid for, I would like my money back. She then proceeded to inform me of all the other people who have purchased this button (out of the many, many, many they have) and how no one has ever complained about it. I'm not sure how this has anything to do with me, and she proceeded to tell me because it looks like a button, it is a button, so nothing is wrong.

I asked again for a cash refund, as I only wanted those buttons and she asked when I made the purchase. I told her the date, which fell in the range of when I could get an exchange and she said if I would have returned it sooner, she would have given me my money back. This makes no sense and it's obvious it's at the discretion of the [redacted] who gets and who doesn't get a refund.

Now I'm stuck with a credit that I definitely won't use to a store that now has it's supply of buttons that aren't functional back in stock along with my money. MDesired Settlement: I'd like my $17.00 back for the three buttons.
