On August MJM Auto Brokers sold a *** *** with 105,miles on itMr *** was informed and signed the lemon law warranty which is day or miles (whichever comes first), and that a $Deductible applies(See Attached) On September 10th, Mr *** brought his car in
for service and we replaced his air condition compressor hose assembly and recharged the system(which is not covered by warranty, Lemon law or otherwise) as well as an evap leak near the gas cap the set off the check engine light for a gas cap codeThis was done free of charge with no deductible collectedMr ***'s Check engine light was then reset and He picked up the vehicleI had not heard from Mr *** again about this vehicle till January 7th, (well after the warranty period had expired) At this time he brought his vehicle to *** *** *** and outside contractor that we use for repairs complaining of a antifreeze smell*** Determined the source of the smell to be the Timing cover gasket and removed and replaced it as well as an oil change at the price of $( see attached receipt) At the Time or the repair the vehicle has miles on it with no check engine light onProving the the previous repair had been completed*** *** explained to Mr *** that the warranty period was up and the the cost of the repair was there billOn February 26, Mr *** again brought his his to *** for a fuel Pump issue*** *** determined the the vehicles fuel pump needed to be replacedThey did so with a bill of $see attachedBoth of these repairs were done outside of my knowledge and clearly outside the time period and scope of the lemon law warrantyMr *** was advised at the time of sale that aftermarket-warranties were available at an additional cost for all levels of repairs on this vehicle and he declined the additional expenseOn February 26, Mrs *** called me up screaming about the repairs and the Price and I informed her that I did not Own *** *** *** and could not adjust the price for herShe ten became Irate screaming and me not allowing me to talk and hung up on me MJM Auto Brokers Stand behind its vehicles and did the repairs need plus additional repairs during the warranty PeriodIt is unfortunate that these repairs were needed but once again they are outside the scope and time limit of the warrantyAs a business we can not warranty vehicles indefinably which is why additional warranty coverage is available at a cost. In conclusion re request closure in our favor based on the facts
