Review: We had a new concrete driveway installed in late March 2012 by Mr. [redacted]. Although not written down, we told him the only way we were going to go with him for the driveway was if he offered us a 1 year warranty since it was so early in the year. Unfortunately for us, we only had a verbal agreement. In February 2013, we started to notice that parts of the driveway were chipping off of the surface and there was some pitting. We contacted Mr. [redacted] on 3/28/2013 about the problem with the driveway. After several calls and emails, Mr. [redacted] finally came out to look at the driveway on 6/7/2013 and told us that the damage was due to the concrete mix from the concrete company and he was going to contact them to see if they had other problems with that particular batch. At that time, he also disclosed to us that he was having problems with his girlfriend and he was in Chapter 13 and he had no money to replace or fix our driveway. We expressed to him that we were not happy that we paid for a NEW driveway and not even a year later is starting to look almost as bad as our old driveway. We have tried to contact him several times regarding getting this matter straightened out, and have not heard anything back. I also want to add that Mr. [redacted] contractor license expired 3/19/2012 and hasn't renewed it since as far as records show.Desired Settlement: We would like to have our driveway repaired or replaced to NEW condition as we paid for a NEW driveway or we would like our $2600 refunded back to us.
