Dear [redacted] ***,MJR Industries LLC does not offer paper contracts only online invoices that can be viewed by the client at anytime This was expressed several times and we have evidence that they viewed our invoices as well as approved payment We have pictures documenting the before and after, and when all the work was done Everything turned out beautifully, unfortunately the clients stepped on the floor before the tiles were completely dry against what they were informed, resulting in an uneven floor, which was the starting point of their dissatisfaction. The clients asked for no tile spacers against our warning but we went ahead and did what was requested We made the clients aware on several occasions that we were managing multiple projects simultaneously and naturally could not be there every day To keep the clients pleased we upgraded their standard tub to a customized tub at no extra cost The invoice excluded the sink and toilet at their request to save money However, the clients were billed for initial work and the additional plumbing required to bring the house up to code. The corner cabinet was their choice and was not part of our suggested designs All 3D renderings are not owned by MJR, but leased for viewing purposes, and can only be released to the clients if they are purchased from the designer This was communicated as well at the start of the project All renderings can be viewed at [redacted] , but not downloaded On account of the damaged studs that were removed, we removed more studs to keep the middle bedroom walls from collapsing There was never any guarantee that the owner would always be present, seeing as though the workers would be there multiple times a week Pictures of the craftsmanship can be viewed anytime.Conclusively, work was halted with less than 5% of the project left Work would have continued after the clients made the last payment [redacted] expressed in several phone conversations that he loved the bathroom and was satisfied However, it was [redacted] who started conveying her issues with the bathroom All these conversations are recorded and can serve as evidence that [redacted] loved the bathroom He is the one that hired our business, he was the only there overseeing the project and his name was the only one on the invoice.Best,Kia [redacted] Project Manager

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
MJR Industries LLC did not say he couldn’t do paper
contracts.
The bathroom did not turn out beautifully and the rendering
on MJR Industries LLC website does not come close to the unfinished, poor
quality workmanship provided.
The floor tiles were never stepped on, they are uneven due
to MJR Industries LLC bad workmanship. And how does the contractor account for
tiles cut short and uneven on all walls?
This was not the beginning of the dissatisfaction, it
started well before that.
It was never requested that tile spacers not be used and no
warnings were given from MJR Industries LLC to use them.  As my wife grew increasingly concerned with
the continuation of the project, when she asked Matthew R[redacted] if he used
them, he said no and it was his decision to not do so.
The owner and operator, the same abovementioned, of MJR
Industries LLC did not communicate he was on multiple projects and I didn’t
even know he did work for the city until he didn’t show up to work.
Whether the tub is an upgrade or not is yet to be seen, as I
need the purchase orders to compare the expenses.  And he purchased without our knowledge.  Please provide.
The corner cabinet was MJR Industries LLC suggestion and
would have been practical if it was the right size.
The 3D rendering, already covered in the initial complaint,
was never brought up as a future cost or could not be given to a client for
personal viewing.  Nor did MJR Industries
LLC even attempt to let me view again in person.
I viewed the [redacted] website and can’t find
the rendering.  Where is it? Please
provide.
The reference to damaged studs bears explanation.
This contractor was late many times and didn’t always
provide notice that he wasn’t coming.
Please provide the pictures of the craftsmanship for review.
MJR Industries LLC wasn’t supposed to receive another
payment unless the work was completed, and with the reasonable expectation of
it being done correctly, no payment could be made.
It is not less than 5% complete because what was done needs
demolition and renovation.
I don’t recall ever using the word “love” in describing any
of the work done, actually that was not my sentiment at all.
We are still in the process of gathering estimates and ideas
from multiple contractors and the consensus is that it must be torn out like an
old bathroom and started over because of the poor work.  And the contractors don’t know what has been
done behind the sheetrock, drywall, etc. until it’s removed. And based on the
outside view, I’m not hopeful the work not showing would be any better.  Again, the more contractors I call, the
reality is the job is so bad, it must be demolished and started over.  Safety is a major concern.
Therefore, in addition to the original amount, I’m adding in
$2,237.68 for a total of $7,065.00.  The
new ceilings, paint and crown moldings in three rooms is what can be
compensated.  Payment in the amount of
$9,535.00 should not be retained by this contractor, so based on the invoice
amounts I see, $2,470.00 is the total.
Beyond that work, anything regarding the bathroom needs to be
reimbursed. The painting is passable.
This bathroom needs to be done.  This started around March 20, 2017 and had to
be suspended on 4/18/17.
The trash left behind by the contractor and his refusal to
remove as a responsible, respectable company would do, won’t after requests by
my wife and the PA State Representative [redacted] office.  Mr. R[redacted] is still demanding to be paid more
money, even though his own invoice states the balance would be due upon
completion. How does this show good
customer service?  Another unfulfilled
obligation.
Need a legible copy of MJR Industries, LLC response to the
initial complaint as this is difficult to read in a few places and needed for
reproduction purposes.
Please send all signed paperwork as requested before.  Invoices are not clear and all have the same invoice number. MJR Industries LLC should have conducted his business dealings with integrity.I was not successful in uploading the multiple files, so please contact me as soon as possible and let me know how I can upload a folder of photos.
I reject the response from MJR Industries LLC.
Regards,
Richard Peluso
