Review: Dear Revdex.com,I am writing as I cannot collect the money I was promised from [redacted] working for M&K Construction.To make a long story short, I had asked [redacted] for an estimate to paint my desk over the phone as as well as per email. [redacted] decided that in order to do a better estimate he had to see the piece. He said it would be at no cost and he was living in the area anyway. His business card that I have also states free estimates. Anyway after analyzing the price of the job. [redacted] said he would need $40 dollars In advance. I agreed to give him the $40 dollars and he signed a receipt that I still have in my possession. Due to a change in my finances I decided not to go ahead anymore with the job and wrote back [redacted] for a refund. He texted me back that it was not a problem and he would do that. Time passed and more texts later he told me that he was away but would do it....still nothing. My last message in regard to a refund has been unanswered. All in all this is not fair, I have written proof that he agreed on the payment of the $40 dollars. I am more than happy to send it you way.Thank you for your time.Best,[redacted]Desired Settlement: I want a check for my $40 dollars nothing more.Thank you
