Mr [redacted] does not seem to understand the meaning of an estimate When doing and estimate for water damage it is almost impossible to be able to tell the full extent of the damage until the repair work has been started I had removed the flooring that I originally thought was all that was damaged and then brought in my installer to look at it and determine if anymore might need removing He informed me that there was other damaged flooring that should be removed and that is the reason for the second charge This is something that occurs with regularity concerning water damageMr*** [redacted] seems to have a problem with the fact that I conceal carry I am certified and I have a conceal carry permit to do so The police that he called on me told me that they had been informed that someone was open carrying which illegal in DenverThat was an outright lieHe stated that he “turned me over to the Denver police” for trespassing and theft, which is another outright lie, he called the police on the claim of open carryWhen He asked for the receipt the second time I told him that I didn't have the original one sent to him as it was sent via the credit card company I did not make up an invoice for this charge as I have never had to do so for any other customer that paid with a credit card over the phoneI did not tell him to "***" That is language that I do not useBy this time other things had happened on this project After I had finished my work he asked me to supervise the finishing of the projectHe never offered to compensate me for my time He insulted and degraded my floor installer to the point I was informed that he would not do this project for Mr [redacted] *** Mr [redacted] then got a 'floor installer' and asked myself and [redacted] from the management company he was using to meet with him Again no offer for compensation for my timeI called the 'floor installer' and asked him if he had a moisture meter to test the moisture content of the floor to see if it was dry enough to reinstall what had been removed and then refinished Mr [redacted] ***'s 'installer' informed me that he didn't own a moisture meter, a necessary tool for a hardwood floor installer So I purchased one and again no offer of compensation from Mr [redacted] ***Mr [redacted] ***'s 'floor installer' decided that he could not do the project and Mr [redacted] wanted me to find another installerAgain, there was no offer for compensation of my timeI met with my drywaller at his unit to estimate the cost of replacing damaged drywall that had been removed Again, Mr [redacted] did not offer to compensate me for my time to supervise his project My drywaller could not get to it in the time frame that Mr [redacted] demanded and he decided to do the manage the project himselfAt this point I decided that I was not going to continue to be involved with Mr [redacted] *** His demands for me to spend my time and money without compensation, his degrading a floor installer that I have used exclusively for almost years with a complaint from any customer and his degrading of myself was enoughIn reference to the $'unauthorized charge' it was for damage that the water leaking from his unit into the hallway had caused and he was therefore responsible for He did deny that he was responsible for this damage I was contracted by the management company for that building, [redacted] , to repair the damage Carpet squares had been damaged and the wall of his unit had been pushed into the hallway and 5/8" because of the swelling hardwood floor The carpet squares had to be replaced and the wall had to be pushed back and whether I repaired it or another contractor repaired it he would have been charged for the repair by the property management company and they felt that since I was already there I could take care of that problem I didn’t think that using his electricity for a minute and a half would be a problem as I had spent about four hours of my time attempting to help him finish his project, $for my time, driving around miles, $for what I charge in mileage and spending $on a moisture meter that his installer should have had, all without even an offer of compensation from Mr [redacted] ***
