Everyone will have to go through mortgage process in their life and it's very important to seek for a nice mortgage lenderDo not go to this place as they promised as perfect as they can but being as lazy as you can imagine
We had a jumbo loan which caused more time and more process - understandable, so we got months for them to figure out everythingToday supposed to be our closing day but I didn't even receive CD by end of the dayCommitment letter was delayed, internal underwriter delayed and Chase delayed their approval too (which I believe is due to some undelivered files from MLD to ***No apologize , No compensation, No one willing to work late to help us get this case done (when I say late I mean work until 6pm on weekdays)Even for today after we got approval from Chase we were told to get updated title information from title companyThey claimed to keep reaching out for information but received nothingWhen I asked them they told me the updated title forms ne

I mailed my August mortgage check to MLD and realized that the check bounced because of a error on my partI immediately noticed the check had bounced before they even knew about so I hand delivered a new check on the same day my check bounced to avoid any issuesI asked MLD not to redeposit the first check when it comes back and I will be responsible for any chargesThey received the returned bounced check and redeposited it immediately thus causing a ripple effect of bounce fees and overdraft fees for other checksSo I sent them a email asking please do not deposit the check again and I will come physically pick it up but they deposited it again and again there was a ripple effect for other checksIt totaled $and my account rep said MLD would refund the money for the fees because it was a error on their partWhen accounting department received the request they refused to pay us the refund, they are extremely nasty and rude, they do not answer the phone or call you back a

I am rejecting this response because:The August payment was late due to being misinformed on not paying it. A representative of the business called to get information about the complaint. He had the phone on speaker phone, was accusatory, put me on hold during our conversation, and hung up on the conversation with no return call. Again, entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. I don't appreciate the way any of the loan was handled from start to end. To top it off, the loan originator didn't even feel the need to reach out to let me know the loan was denied. Ridiculous

This borrower is complaining because he loan did not close. What happened was the borrower went on vacation, and was returning back 8/26 (I believe) and had the closing schedule for that day, which was the last day for refi’s for the month of August. When [redacted] reached out to her to schedule the...

closing, the client said that she was “too tired” to close, and wanted to push it back. [redacted] explained that the loan either needed to close or needed to be paid for the month of August. I was on vacation when all of this happened. I reached out to the borrower when I returned, and asked her to make the payment myself. She decided to wait until 9/3 to make the payment, which cause a 1x30 day late, which unfortunately killed the loan. I called the client multiple times myself to explain this to her, and did not hear anything back until this Monday, when she emailed me for an update. I let her know that the loan was denied, and the reasoning, which caused her to get angry.

We are sorry but the borrower did not make her august mortgage payment. As result of not making her august mortgage payment she became 30 day late on her mortgage and we cannot close a loan for someone whose mortgage is 30 days late.

I am rejecting this response because:The response from the loan originator is unfortunate.  He is simply not being truthful at all when recounting the events, which is most likely a result of his incompetence. Thank you for sending the complaint through.  I don't expect anything to come of it.  It isn't even that the loan was rejected, because I already have a loan for my home.  It is simply how it was handled.  I just thought a voice needed to be heard.
I have taken the liberty of pasting an email where he did advise to not pay my September payment. Perfect! No worries on Septemberfor now. We have already ordered the new payoff, and should be closing yourloan within the next week or so.

Response:The customer that had a credit score of 560. Do to the many effects of The [redacted], her credit score was increased to 619 at submission of her home purchase of $76,000. Her damaged credit took longer than usual to clean up disputes and verify her recent bankruptcy and foreclosure...

information. The home she was to purchase was on waterfront property and extra verifications on the appraisal was needed. The customers realtor was constantly pushing to close this home with unrealistic time frames. The customer without a clear to close, ended her lease with her current landlord and put more pressure on The [redacted] to close her loan. At the end of the process, her gift letter was presented to Underwriting and due to the relationship from the giftee, was not sufficient for FHA guidelines. Her gift letter stated that her boyfriend was "gifting" her the money for her home purchase, when in fact her boyfriend was actually her Finance. If her letter was written correctly, stating that her Finance was "gifting" her the money, then this would have indeed meet FHA guidelines

Review: In early March I recieved an invitation from another company to refinanance my VA loan that I have with this company to a rate of 3.5%. When I talked to the broker I was told that I could do the same thing and the Irrl streamline process would be faster with them because they already had my loan. I started the process and declined the other company's offer because this company offered me the same thing and it would go faster. at the end of March I called to check on the process and there were many excuses, April was the same, many excuses. I was told by the broker that we should be closing around the first of May, so I waited. On May first I called and the broker told me that he was no longer with the company. The new processor called me ont he same day saying that they were working on the loan to close next Friday (the 8th). On that day I was told that we were not going to close because they were waiting on more documents. Yesterday (May 12th) I recieved a call from a manager with the company saying that they would be refinancing me at 3.7%. I told him that I did everything that I was supposed to do and I expected them to honor thier end of the bargain. He stated that he couldn't because the current rates are not as they were in March.Desired Settlement: That they Honor their end of the bargain and lower my rate to 3.5%. I would be at the 3.5% if ti weren't for thier empty promise. I want them to do the ethical thing. I served this country and I do not feel that this sort of treatment is right. I sacrificed alot for my country and although I am not Active duty, or retired from active duty, I still served this country with Honor, Courage, and Commitment. This company should have the Courage to Honor thier Committment to me.

Review: I HAVE TWO MORTGAGES WITH THIS COMPANY WHICH ARE SENT OUT EITHER SEPARATELY OR TOGETHER TO THE SAME LOCATION. WHEN SENDING SEPARATELY, ONE HAD NOT BEEN PROCESSED WHICH PROMPTED A CALL TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE WAIT TIME FOR C/S IS IN MOST CASES HAS BEEN BETWEEN 30-45 MINUTES. NO ONE COULD TELL WHAT HAPPENED TO THE CHECK. I HAD TO SUBMIT ANOTHER PAYMENT. THE NEXT MONTH, I SUBMITTED BOTH CHECKS IN THE SAME ENVELOPE WITH A BIG SIGN THAT READ (TWO PAYMENTS INCLUDED). AGAIN, ONLY ONE CHECK WAS PROCESSED. THIS PROMPTED ANOTHER CALL TO C/S, AND ANOTHER 30-45 MINUTE WAIT TIME. I ASKED THAT THEY LOOK INTO IT AGAIN, AND AGAIN NOTHING. THIS TIME I ASKED A SUPERVISOR TO CALL ME. NO CALL. IT SEEMS TO BE COMPANY POLICY THAT NO ONE WILL CALL OUT. MY CURRENT STATEMENT HAS A LATE PAYMENT ON IT WHICH WAS TO BE REMOVED. IT WAS NOT. THIS PROMPTED ANOTHER CALL. AGAIN, ANOTHER 30-45 MINUTE WAIT. I EXPLAINED TO C/S THAT THIS WAS NOT TO APPEAR. THEY AGREED. I ASKED THAT AN EMAIL BE SENT TO ME IN CASE THE SITUATION AGAIN ESCALATED. C/S SAID THAT THEY WOULD. I NEVER RECEIVED THE EMAIL WHICH PROMPTED ANOTHER CALL TO C/S. AGAIN, ANOTHER 30-45 MINUTE WAIT ON HOLD. I SPOKE TO C/S AND ASKED THAT THE REVIEW MY NOTES OF MY RECENT PHONE CALL REGARDING THE EMAIL. NO NOTES. I ASKED TO BE SWITCHED TO THE AGENT I HAD SPOKE TO PREVIOUSLY, (I HAD HIS NAME AND ID NUMBER) I WAS PUT ON HOLD WITH NO RESPONSE AFTER 30 MINUTES, I HUNG UP. NO CONFIRMED RESOLUTION AT LODGING OF THIS COMPLAINT.

MY ORIGINAL DEALINGS WITH THIS COMPANY REGARDING LATE PAYMENT BY THEM OF MY TAXES HAS YET TO BE RESOLVED EITHER. HOW MUCH DOES ONE NEED TO ENDURE WHEN THEY HOLD ALL THE CARDS?Desired Settlement: REIMBURSEMENT OF THE CHARGES FOR LATE PAYMENT OF TAXES BY MLD MORTGAGE.

REIMBURSEMENT OF MY CANCELED CHECK CHARGES.

LETTER CONFIRMATION THAT THE ISSUE WAS A PROBLEM ON THEIR SIDE AND HAS BEEN RESOLVED.

Review: I have been working on a refi for a home loan and during the process, periods of time would lag and they would continually ask for the same documents over and over. When the closing was about to take place, they told me to not pay my current house payment. I did finally pay it due to being contacted. I finally reached out to [redacted] with the Money Store only to find out the loan was denied. All of this due to their lack of follow through. Unfortunately, the communication has been horrible. And when did they plan to let me know the loan was denied so I could pay my current, late home payment. This company has been horrible since I started working with them. I would highly caution anybody from ever financing through them.Desired Settlement: I would hope this is not how they treat all their customers. This process has been in the works for months and follow through and communication was terrible. They wasted a lot of my time. I hope this is resolved for future customers.

Have had bad experience after bad experience. MLD holds an extra payment of mine and can't seem to find it. I have a letter on my banks letter had showing the date the funds posted and cleared to MLD along with tracking/banking information.
After 9 calls to customer service nothing has happened. I get the exact same response from every single rep. "We will research this and escalate it to a supervisor and that supervisor will call you back." 10 days later I have not received a single call back. Also, they still cannot find the funds. In total, I am missing over $4,000 dollars that my bank shows evidence of MLD having.
