Thank you for taking our situation into consideration and offering us the opportunity to share our viewpoint in this disputeAlthough we are sincerely sorry for any inconveniences we may have caused to patient, there are significant discrepancies between her complaint and our
records First, she claims that we did not have her prescription, which was to be filled on the 18th of July, filled on the 19th of JulyOn the 14th, when we received the prescription, we asked patient to call us again on the 18th and request that we fill the prescriptionShe did not call until the 19th, and as soon as she did we filled the prescription and delivered the medication to her home that same day. As for the prescription patient seems to believe we lost, we actually did not receive any prescription on the 28th of AugustAfter an aggravated phone call from patient, I called her doctor's nurse and inquired about a potential prescription that should have been sent to us on the 28thThe nurse understood that we never received a prescription and she agreed to send a new one to other Pharmacy, as per patient's request. When she requested to transfer to other Pharmacy initially, we attempted to convince her otherwise and resolve any issues as per pharmacy protocol, however, she was not convinced, and her request was honoredWe faxed her prescriptions to other Pharmacy on August 3rd, assuming that they went throughHowever, we received another aggravated phone call from patient on the 4th, who told us that other Pharmacy had not received her prescriptionsI then personally called that Pharmacy, faxed the prescriptions again, and then called back to ensure that they had received the prescriptions Overall, I will say that communication with patient was limited and difficult, as she often became very irate and hung up the phone in the midst of conversationsWe are sincerely sorry that patient still receives our automated calls, and we have removed her name from the call list in order to resolve that issueThank you again for being open to hear our side of this disputeI ensure you that MLK Pharmacy is committed to its customers, and we will take this customer complaint into consideration in order to review and improve our protocolsIf you need access to any further records or documentation please do not hesitate to call Sincerely, Shraddha ***
