I hired this contractor to do a bathroom remodel on my home. The bathroom is not complete and the contractor has been paid in full. Not only that, [redacted], the owner, was demeaning and disrespectful using name calling and asking me to never contact him again.Things left incomplete include: (1) None of the grout in the bathroom was EVER sealed, (2) The tub spigot has been loose since initial install, (3) The shower runs continuously when the bathtub spigot is turned on. I had mentioned the shower to [redacted] after the job was complete and asked that he properly install the shower head and tub faucet. He came out and gave a dishonest excuse and placed a short-cut valve on my shower head. When I contacted him again because my key was not where I had left it, he sent me a text message calling me a B___h and advising me to never call his number again. When I explained that I did not believe him because he had been dishonest on multiple occasions, he proceeded to text me that he was doing me a favor because my husband had died and that I was a piece of s___. If anything, the grout in the bathroom needs to be sealed but I do not trust this volatile contractor alone in my presence. I feel that he needs to send someone out to seal the grout and do the repairs as the job was not done correctly in the first place. Since these repairs were included in the initial contract and [redacted] has been paid in full, I feel that he should be responsible for completing the job he was hired to do. If he is unable to complete the repairs himself, them he needs to hire someone else to complete the job. Unfortunately, because he was dishonest with me multiple times throughout the course of the project and resulted to calling me names and blatant disrespect in the end, I don't know how best to proceed at this time.Product_Or_Service: Bathroom RemodelDesired SettlementFirst and foremost, the grout in the bathroom needs to be sealed. It is unclear to me why this was omitted from the original job. Whatever the reason, this is unacceptable. I have spoken with several contractors and they have advised that the bathroom is not complete until the tile grout is properly sealed.Second, the shower head and faucet need to be properly installed. The spigot should be tight not loose and the shower should not run continuously just because the water is turned on.
