Review: Me and my husband hired Mike Metin & his company M&M Construction to lay flooring we had purchased, reapply trim, refinish hardwood floor in one room & re drywall a half bath & replace the flooring per his recommendations. Two checks were given, one was dated for the day before we started the job April 12th and another for the remaining balance - dates for Wednesday the 15th because that's when the job was too be complete. The bathroom was added on wedneday and was paid for ($[redacted]) that day and the $[redacted] in supplies was paid for in full the following day. My husband started finding all sorts of short cuts and mistakes all over. Trim was cut short, t molding didn't go all the way to the walls, vents were almost half covered with t molding instead of cutting to fit around it, flooring was peeling up in the bathroom after just being applied, there is so much I could list! I do want to mention I messaged, called, texted, sent pictures and asked about every single thing I was purchasing for the job to assure I was getting the right materials (flooring for bathroom, flooring for other 3 rooms, trim, stain, t molding, adhesive, etc. Everything was ran by him before we bought it. Because of his disrespect, in professionalism, and lack to complete or show up for the work we paid for my husband told him he and his crew were not welcome at our house anymore, they needed to pay is back some of the amount we had already paid them to do work my husband now had to fix and finish for them. He refuses and I just am wanting to bring awareness and hoping this does not happen to anyone else again, it has been a nightmare..Desired Settlement: We had paid $[redacted] for the bathroom to be done, it is incomplete & done inproperly now my husband has to fix and finish the bathroom that we already paid forpaid $*,[redacted] for the installation of flooring, putting in t molding, building up floor & relaying of trim- trim is incorrectly measured in multiple places, t molding is cut too short in door ways (refund for materials we will need to buy new) We deserve to be compinsated for the new material we must put in and the labor required now.
