We hired MM Flooring to renovate our basement They quoted us 2-monthsmonths into the job, they never returned, leaving it unfinished After having a sewage back up in our basement, we hired MM Flooring to renovate and build out our basementThis included building a downstairs bathroom and bar areaWe also hired them to do some renovations in our kitchen - ceiling repair and putting on a back splashWork commenced May 1st, with the kitchen and was done to our expectations in time for a family functionAt that time, we were happy with our decision about hiring MM Flooring The basement work commenced late May In scope was to replace drywall, all floors, build bathroom, build bar, replace door to cold room, replace stair railing and all electricalThe brothers brought in the electrician, which we found to be a great personThe painter came next and she did a great jobThe plumber did all the prep for the bathroom and bar area and we had no complaintsHowever, things began to stallWhen the general work was required to be done, we would see the brothers very brieflyJune, July came and went and our basement was still unfinishedIn August, the brothers promised us it would be complete by Aug They had an issue with the vanity fixture (we did not like what they choose)We agreed that we would purchase our own vanity and they would deduct that from our final billThe plumber was to come back on Aug to finish installing the bathroom - this never happenedAfter countless emails in September and October, the brothers informed us that they did not have the time to come and finish the jobThey said that the remaining amount owed should cover the cost of us bringing in another contractorThis left us high and dryOur bathroom is not finished, the bar area has not had its finishing touches and we do not have a stair railing to hold ontoAdditionally, there were areas that they did finish that needed to be touched up - nail holes filled and small finishing touches We anticipated, as with all contractors, that the work was not going to be completed within the original 4-week quote, but we never imagined that they would stop the job all together This practice with MM Flooring is highly unprofessional and all people dealing with them should understand how they do not honour their agreements with clients

We also hired them to do some renovations in our kitchen - ceiling repair and putting on a back splash. Work commenced May 1st, 2014 with the kitchen and was done to our expectations in time for a family function. At that time, we were happy with our decision about hiring MM Flooring.

After countless emails in September and October, the brothers informed us that they did not have the time to come and finish the job.
