9/12/Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] for [redacted] called [redacted] Automotive and spoke with [redacted] [redacted] said she could not get her car out of parkShe said it had happened to her the other day as well but she was able to maneuver it out of park [redacted] gave [redacted] the address to tow it in from, The vehicle was pushed into the shop and there were wires under the dash that had been cut smoothly, One of those wires was the brake switch actuator, The only way she would have been able to "maneuver" it out of park would have been to touch those wire togetherThat is what [redacted] did to pull it outside the shop, [redacted] called the customer to inform her that we wouldn't be able to touch her car because wires were clean cut under the dashUnder the dash around the steering column is where the GPS unit is hidden and wiredBased on wires cut around and near this area, we believed there was an attempt to remove or shutoff the GPS unitThat is an event of default under her contractIn addition, her sales person [redacted] advised us that the customer did not want that car originally so she had been trying to find things wrong with It since the day she bought it Resolution — We are not sure of the intentions of the buyer, but our position is that the clean cuts of the wires in proximity of the GPS unit represent tampering of the GPS unitAs such, we repossessed the car to protect our collateral
